  1. Got my blue copy today, only very light black marble. It looks sweet, it came with a note explaining the ordeal with blue vinyl instead of grey vinyl.
  2. To fuel the rumors a bit more, I give you this old collection picture. I did add another version of Silent Alarm since then. Other Bloc Party records are not shown.
  3. Blue marble (grey) sold out on Kingsroadmerch EU, now only black vinyl is available. Can't find out if it is a different pressing than the USA pressing on black.
  4. This was a record you could find for 5 euro's a few years ago at 2nd hand stores, nowadays most shops charge 20 euro's for a second hand copy and 22 to 27 euro's for a repress.
  5. United States Release 1st Pressing (12") Released 02-03-2015 by Anti 2000 Pressed Grey Black Black/White Splatter (Hastings & FYE Exclusive) White (Hot Topic Exclusive) Any word on an European pressing?
  6. Will there be a different pressing for the European market? Or will these be imported US pressing? Last few Epitaph releases I bought, differ from release to release.
  7. uggh, I need to order from Hot Topic again. That is really killing me with the shipping costs to Europe.
  8. Received my copy last week: https://donotconsideryourselffree.wordpress.com/2015/01/23/the-living-end/
  9. I prefer the box version to my OG UK pressing of Pinkerton. Nevermind isn't that great in the expanded edition, but they nailed it with In Utero. That turned out so great.
  10. No, talked to Dave and he said some stuff is hold up at the printer. It should be in somewhere this week, so it will start shipping soon.
  11. Try uploading to http://imgur.com/ Super easy and fast. After uploading copy the url of image and post it here. Presto!
  12. True, sadly the older singles, didn't drop nearly that much. A lot of early and mid 2000's hardcore bands, would release a 7" with a special record elease sleeve and the next few days they would go for 100+ dollars. I bailed on those, but I managed to get quite a few recently for 99 cents. Another funny example is the Floorpunch 7" on gold (limited to 88 copies) would sell around for 100-150 dollars around 2000 and fetches 1500-1700 dollars nowadays. The Ten Yard Fight 7" on white (limited to 100 copies) would sell for 100-150 dollars around 2000 and fetches 20-30 dollars nowadays.
  13. Good to see some sensible people here. I remember a few years ago someone was super pissed about an insert having a small corner folded. I made a comment about it, that this kind of stuff happens and it doesn't affect playing or enjoying the record and he shouldn't be such a baby about. Needless to say I got down voted by him and his friends like there was no tomorrow. Corner dings of the sleeve almost always happen.
  14. I believe it is more an exposure thing, it now turns up more in your daily email and it is on the first page of all list on Discogs.
  15. Dude sell it on ebay and make a ton of money. Buy a new boxset en spent the rest of the money on acid/LSD and trip to the yellow submarine.
  16. I made a picture of my floral green and my repress copy side by side. Still a bit on the fence if the difference is enough.
  17. My top 3: 1. OOP: who cares? I came looking for this on Discogs/eBay in the first place instead of ordering it from the label or band. 2. Rare: Wow is it rare? Now I really want to spent 200 more dollars on that record. NOT. 3. Owned by a private collector: What does that mean in the first place, you didn't use outer sleeves and you play your records on a Crosley. You might as well point out you used your records as a place mat. /end rant
  18. I suggest to look harder, I think I owned three copies at a certain point. It is not that rare. Maybe in the USA since it is an European only release.
