  1. Which of the Paradise records is the European tour copy? I remember it having a slightly different sleeve.
  2. Still waiting for the day TTDLX, RA1, RA2 music will be released on vinyl.
  3. Funny enough, Kingsroadmerch had quite a few copies on blue with them to Groezrock fest. I only needed a copy on black and they didn't take it with them. Obviously I didn't buy a spare copy on blue...cause I don't flip.

First the PA/DE/NJ route: Notice how it has been travelling in circles for a few days. Finally the USA route: Notice how it has been send half way across the USA before it shipped back the other way around to Europe. Conclusion: instead of raising their prices, they could make more money with improving the routing of the packages.
  5. I figured this one out. When they press split colored vinyl, they first make them into someting that looks like a hockey puck, before it gets pressed and molded into the 7" shape. If you throw it in the machine upside down, the color array will be upside down too, since the labels and plates are still in the same position. Check this video for the hockey pucks and how it gets pressed to a record. https://youtu.be/CVYxgLSHFgc
  6. Any details on the amount of tour editions there are? Any information on the promo pressing? Any information on the double b-sides label version.
  7. I really want the 101-ers double LP.
  8. Ah yes, lathe is what I read about but it makes sense searching for lacquer didn't bring up any good results answering my question.
  9. So I just got a bootleg 7", limited to 50 copies according to the sleeve. But I doubt they would press such low numbers. Also the disc itself feels a bit weird almost like it is a piece of plexi glass instead of vinyl. Could it be a lacquer instead of vinyl? Is there a way yo easily identify the difference between vinyl and lacquer?
  10. 17 days from Netherlands to upstate New York. That really is a new low. Never seen it so slow before.
  11. Got my black USA copy and again super flimsy compared to the European pressing.
  12. Mail has been rather slow these last few weeks, very irritating indeed. I once had a package shipped from California to the Netherlands, being detoured trough Argentina, Chili, Spain, Germany before it arrived here. It took close to 4 months.
  13. Obviously a good half hour after after complaining here, the mail men shows up with the record. Holy shit what a thin record, I am surprised it hasn't warped yet. Not too excited to receive my copies from GoHasting and Hot Topic if they are equal as thin. European pressing is way better IMHO.
  14. Still waiting on my grey copy, it was shipped close to two weeks ago.
  15. Does the b-label also have this different colored label?
  16. Just got my copies on white vinyl. Nicely numbered on a sticker stuck on the plastic seal. Glad I waited for this.
  17. Welcome to my world, this is common practice when ordering from the USA when in Europe.
