Just bought Gruntruck - Push from a seller on eBay for $38.99 who still has a couple of copies left as of now. I've seen some places online as high as $45.99 on that one, Discogs is at $42.

Yup, I canceled my order after noticing it was $5 over msrp and they charged me 5.99 to ship a single LP (website said 3.99). Found it on Discogs and saved $7. I also noticed they kept increasing the price of many releases as the day went on.

So, not off to a good start with experiencevinyl.com. I ordered a colored variant of a record and they sent me black and when I emailed them about the issue they told me to call them (thought that was kind of odd). When I called customer service I was told the colored variant of the record I ordered doesn't exist (it does, lots of other sellers have them available) and that "black vinyl sounds better anyway" 😒. At any rate, I told them I don't mind keeping the black vinyl but I paid more for the variant so just refund me the difference and we'll call it good. Odd experience but it is experiencevinyl.com so maybe that's part of the deal lol

I've been selling on eBay for years and this wasn't a big deal to me. The setup was a kind of a pain but I've gotten used to not getting paid right away. I do much prefer selling on Discogs though since listing on eBay takes so much longer.

Both colored editions are sold out now. Prophecy also just repressed Melting Sun on purple vinyl for those interested.

I got into them through .neon, that album blew my mind when it came out. I actually preferred the Low City Rain album to Melting Sun but the vocals on this track remind me of LCR in some ways. Hopefully that bonus album will be on streaming services since it's not getting a vinyl release (at least for now).

Ordered the Lantlôs LP. I wasn't huge on Melting Sun but this new track is awesome. I wonder what Herbst was up to all this time, he talked about releasing this album years ago.

Finally received the 2nd edition of the board game today.

Man those Agalloch splatters are ugly, cool for the people that don’t have them though. I’m sure John will have them repressed again soon, the demand is there.
