I'm surprised i hadn't seen this yet also shocked to see it posted here. I love industrial music and have been a fan of haujobb since the mid 90s. I'll probably pick up ffr and solutions. Seems like nobody cares for this type of music here unless it gets a little press like youth code. But there are a ton of great records, especially from the 90s that need to get pressed.

I'll set the reminder now on the calendar because shipping sure won't be $12 from HT. -

There are still plenty available direct from TRR for $150. -
Why are Amazon and local stores around me selling this for $30-$35 when Mondo has them for $23? Are they just trying to make some extra $$ before the repress or are distributors adding that much $ to the cost?

Cool poster. The first time i saw them was actually at Soundlab in 2005 with Eluvium. That was great show as I LOVE that era of both bands. I think that was the last show I've been to in Buffalo.

PO: Nirvana - "Incesticide" (2016 Geffen release)
fish replied to JimandTara's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I remember thinking the same thing when those last represses came out because i had just bought a blue for around $60 on ebay. And the blue value has gone up pretty good since then which is surprising. Seems like the first presses of all of the Nirvana albums have been slowing increasing over the years regardless of how many times the get repressed. -
Friend in the US, how much does it cost...
fish replied to dirac's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Are those prices with or without tracking? I know some sellers won't ship international without it. -
Apparently the SKM/Jesu album is finally released domestically this week. I am kind of surprised as i don't see a ton (if any) demand for this especially when the import has been out for so long and is actually way cheaper from 3rd party sellers. http://www.bullmoose.com/p/22415026/jesu-sun-kil-moon-jesu-sun-kil-moon Wonder if we'll get any special colors on CV's website.

I liked the idea of these since they started using them. Seems like there would be less crushed corners. Everything I've ever received in these has been in great shape. Anyone have any issues with them vs regular mailers?

New album shipping 9/5. Black 2LP only for now. https://www.hellomerch.com/products/star-treatment-12-vinyl Cheaper on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Star-Treatment-WOVENHAND/dp/B01JIUDDLA/ "The band recorded the album at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio studio, with the great Chicago metal producer Sanford Parker behind the boards. And this time around, the band includes Planes Mistaken For Stars members Chuck French and Neil Keener, as well as Crime & The City Solution keyboardist Matthew Smith. Edwards says that it’s a sort of concept album about our human fascination with the night sky."

I don't disagree with your logic at all, but if someone wanted to they could file a claim and you'd be screwed. That is just how paypal works. Thankfully that'd probably only be for $20. Not $200+ like for this 7". So in this case though the seller should have spent the extra $2 for insurance just in case.
-
Yeah, just file a item not as described claim with PayPal and they'll have you return the item and you'll get refunded. PayPal always sides with buyers. Makes no difference if the seller says things like "not responsible for damage", "buyer responsible for adding insurance if wanted" etc. Insurance is the sellers responsibility whether they like it or not.

gotta be a mistake but i gave it a try and probably get it cancelled. (it has since been changed to $33.97) I pulled 2 tickets to the second seattle show today somehow. now i just have to find a cheap flight out there.

Reckless in Chicago had them posted on their website as of this morning. Supposedly available at all of the locations: http://www.reckless.com/ From experience at least half the time i would try and order something from them it would not be in stock by the time they got back to me. But they shut down their webstore for a good year and recently reopened it so maybe they are better now.
