Just got this today. Post office did some work on the package which had no extra cardboard to stiffen it up but the records are all good thankfully. It started off slow but I am loving the second half of the Instrumentals. I'm pretty sure I will never listen to the first LP again though.

Down to 7 yellow left. The show soundtrack is definitely helping them. Just read an article about them on NME.

You're right. Although a lot of people post obvious incorrect items as well (ie they will note the matrix which is completely different than the item it is listed as). So at minimum look at the sold item details and descriptions and not just the high/low/median prices on the main page. Then you could tell which is which. I don't see this as an issue for lps that have a few pressings, but for ones like this that have hundreds it can probably be a pain for sellers to even find the right one.

I agree that should always be the first place to look. But I just wouldn't necessarily trust the $ amounts for the sold items on discogs to determine the value of this particular album as i think those pressings are all mixed up by sellers.

The problem with records like Dark Side on discogs is that there are zillion pressings and sellers who don't pay enough attention end up listing them under the wrong one. I bought a NM second press (the first UK press without the solid prism on the labels) a few years back but it took 3 different discogs sales and 2 returns until I actually got that pressing. Just can't get over their prices. Especially when i can get the black version for $25 shipped. But i wonder if this means we will actually see a different variant for sale over at CV soon.

Just received mine. Info on back actually says "Luna Music Ltd, LML#3 2016" as well as having the CV info. They must have had something to do with pressing this. So they should actually be correct on the #s unlike the blue Benji which was a Vinyl Films Release. Not to mention the description on their website says:one-time only pressing (100 LUNA music Vermilion RED VINYL 2-LP sets and 1500 BLACK VINYL 2-LP sets)" so that sticker is just to F with us or as others have said something they use for items that are supposed to be exclusive to them.

I've been ordering almost all of my import vinyl exclusively from RT for years now and never had any issues. They are a pretty well known store so I wouldn't worry about getting screwed by them. I didn't read the Radiohead story but if they ordered the white and got a black then they can call their credit card and have it fixed easy enough. In general teh special/limited versions of releases on their website are listed as "LP+". They aren't going to intentionally ship you a standard version if you ordered the "+".

Yeah just check discogs as there were some for right around $30. I may have an extra when i get my 2nd copy from Other Music. Hoping I get lucky and it's the other pressing than what I got from my local.

My local got 30 of these in. Just picked mine up for $30. 1 per person/in store only unfortunately or I'd grab a couple extras for the board. It's Underground Sounds in Ann Arbor for the few of you around this area.

Paypal always sides with the buyers over sellers. So if you file paypal claim as "item not as described" you'll be able to get refunded. I've only ever done this a few times in the 1000's of things i have purchased. A couple times they made me return the item, the other couple they didn't. That was probably based off of how much it was if i had to guess. I'd message the seller and send them pics. Tell them it was not int he condition you expected from the listing and wondered if they would give you a partial refund. If not tell them you'll want to return the item by filing a claim in paypal. But I'd stay away from neg feedback unless the seller fights with you as they were probably just naive in packaging it.

That is in my top 5 most wanted records but I can't justify paying what it goes for nowadays. I had ordered a black copy from an online UK store back in the day and it is one of the few items that never made it to me via the usps. Then all of a sudden it was OOP.
