Saves the Day is a punk/hardcore inspired band that made some (pop) punk music. Dashboard Confessional is not and has never been. Don't see the correlation..
 
This track list reminds me of all the people still on my social media that were so into music but never listened to a new album after high school. Like what is the demographic here? 30-something small-towners?

Gave my copy a listen today.  Definitely lands much more firmly in the space rock side of Cave In, nothing too heavy and all clean vocals.  The two singles that've been released are a pretty accurate depiction of what to expect.  I liked it quite a bit based on the one listen and I'll probably come to appreciate it more with multiple revisits.

This is a hell of a record with a ton of emotional weight to it (not in a bad way). Up there with their best.
 

Grabbed a splatter along with that Riptides record. I'm stoked about The Riptides album. I haven't listened to them in years. 

Got the new Fetid record super early today. It's soooooo good! Disgusting stuff!
 
Got the saw blade Chainsaw Dismemberment today too. Looks awesome, but I haven't listened yet. Can't take Fetid off the turntable..
