monsterrod reacted to companyinkrecs in Ross/ETR Appreciation Thread
There should be no "appreciation thread" allowed on this board that is not preceded by the word "ass".

monsterrod got a reaction from bgdesign in So did you thank a veteran today?
I'm an army vet and today at work, my boss Cindy Pawlcyn (a relatively famous chef) came in to work, wished me a happy Veterans Day and offered me anything I wanted for dinner, on the house. That meant a lot to me. It was really cool. My Dad also sent me an email saying how proud he is of me and (he's into genealogy) a list of everyone in my family tree that has ever fought in a war, with my name at the top. That was also super cool.

i have a feeling carl will become a preverbal john connor, only the enemy is zombies instead of robots, and there is no time travel.

Oh, I'm referring to the thread, not the Edwardian Barber cum. Just clarifying.

Ordered. Great Tuneage.

monsterrod got a reaction from andi in Hot Water Music to release "Live In Chicago" 3xLP
I'd like to add that I'm happy as Hell to finally purchase a record that isn't a pre-order. I fell like I have been throwing a ton of money at the Internet with nothing to show for it. It'll be cool in a couple months, when I get a bunch of records I forgot I ordered, but I want my gratification instantly, goddamnit.

I have never heard a HIM song, but I am familiar with them via the wardrobes of goth girls in the 50th percentile or below of attractiveness. In my mind, they sound like a Motley Crue/Marilyn Manson hybrid but worse and with keyboards. Accurate?

Ordered a pink. Thanks!

monsterrod got a reaction from jase in PO: Oi! This is Streetpunk, Volume Two (Rancid, Street Dogs, The Business, Flatfoot 56, etc.)
As much as I was hoping this would be spread out over several 7" records instead of one convenient 12", I grabbed a black copy anyway. Thanks for the heads up!
