Hahaha, as soon as I read your subject, I came in here with the intention of posting that.... favourite movie/music moment.

Do you guys have software or a group that manually manages it? One of the apps I work on is a CM web app.

I sit at a desk and browse message boards. Occasionally I make or test some software.

I know i’ll probably get hate for this but... even when I go to shows it’s harder to find girls to have a legitimate conversation about music with since I know some of them are only there for the purpose of hooking up with a guy in a band. I know there are some genuine girls around who are into the music and know what they’re talking about, but they are outnumbered. I find the exact opposite, guys there to pick up chicks and girls are easy to genuinely talk music with! Most of my favourite bands were brought to my attention by females.... but then I've always had an easier time making friends with girls than dudes and surrounded myself with female friends.

I believe there were actually two pressings of the 679 version. When I got mine I also read 500, then I read later about a repress of 2500. So I *think* there are 3000 total. Obviously take that with a grain of salt. Or ten.

Get an Expedit 1x2 or something like that. Or see if you can find a couple old milk crates. Getting a custom acrylic "case" seems a little overboard and I can't imagine it would be cheap.

My buddy caught somebody trying to scam his Paypal account. He logged in one day and noticed that the balance was really high, and he never carries a balance. So he changed his password and filed a hack complaint with Paypal, and somehow ended up keeping the money added by the hacker!! This was a couple years ago and I don't remember the details exactly but it was hilarious.

Sounds like there are two problems here. First, the hissing sound you describe, is called sibilance. It's caused by the cartridge on your turntable. If you are still using the stock cartridge on your Debut III, it's widely known as being a sibilant cartridge. There are many replacements available for under 150 that could probably do a better job. Your old headphones probably just weren't revealing enough to expose the sibilance. Your second problem is the low volume. The Denon headphones can be driven out of normal headphone jacks but the bass and punch will be lacking, they benefit a lot from a headphone amp. Taking a guess here that a headphone amp could solve your issue.

Pretty much this. The sound quality is bad but they do some amazing live versions of the songs. I think my favourite version of Invalid Letter Dept is on this album.

I ran into this about a month ago when I did a trade with a guy in the States... I coughed up the $30 for tracking info. At first I wanted to require a signature because it was a high value record, but that was going to be like $70!! He did get the record in about a week though, so that was cool.
