  1. I am still confused. The band posted that the early pre-sale for Mylene Sheath newsletter subscribers will start tonight and then go out to the public tomorrow. When did this alleged band exclusive go up for sale?
  2. LOL at the SRC e-mail newsletter from today: Pre-Order Now Death From Above 1970 New Album!
  3. There is only a limit of 3 per order, so don't go crazy or anything. Because everyone needs 1 copy to play 1 copy to frame 1 copy to resell at a later date hehehehe
  4. Guess it isn't a limited as the pax-am site made it out to be. Might have waiited to find it elsewhere (such as my local store) and not pay the pax-am shipping had this been more publicly stated. But cool for those that missed out originally! Order that shit up!
  5. Looks like that picture is from this Ebay auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sdcc-2014-Exclusive-Mondo-Batman-The-Animated-Series-7in-Vinyl-Record-Albums-Set-/221503387041?pt=Art_Prints&hash=item3392a175a1
  6. Don't forget that Korn Issues is a GoHastings exclusive already in the US on Yellow Vinyl and can still be ordered here: http://www.gohastings.com/product/POPMUSIC/Issues-Hastings-Exclusive/sku/293057795.uts#.U8-0Y_ldU1I

  8. Click on store....then up in the right hand corner is a vinyl only section you can click on
  9. You know they'll be 19 responses at least of "I got it" or "Site's working" or "Checked Out...sweet" type comments when its working. Then we'll see another 15 responses when shipping notices are sent and another 8-10 responses about the package arriving. Ahhhh good ol VC. EDIT: Thanks to pop_art1 for the negative feedback!! Appreciate your lack of humor.
  10. Can you provide a link please. I just pulled it up on Amazon and it's showing $19.40 + shipping, so I'd like to find it for $7

  13. Announced today for $50 At long last Third Man Records and Third Man Books are very proud to present our first commercially available book, Language Lessons: Volume I. Though the term book, in this case, may actually be a bit limiting considering what this whole package actually contains… Want to hear more? Read on. Language Lessons is a 321 page hardbound book, co-edited by Chet Weise and Third Man’s own Ben Swank, full of contemporary poetry and prose including over 20 award winning and / or nominated contemporary poets and authors such as Dale Ray Phillips, a Pulitzer Prize nominee in fiction,C.D. Wright, a National Book Award finalist and National Book Critics Circle winner in poetry, and Adrian Matejka, a National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize finalist in poetry. Language Lessons is two vinyl LPs of jazz, psychdelic-punk, poetry, blues and pop from artists such as William Tyler, Destruction Unit, Ken Vandermark, Sampson Starkweather and more. Language Lessons is 5 pieces of frameable broadsides of poems by C.D. Wright, Frank Stanford, Brian Barker, Jake Adam York and Chet Weise with original art from former Big Boys guitartist Tim Kerr, one-time Hate illustrator Jim Blanchard, intertwangle-ist folk artist Butch Anthony and more. That’s a lot of bang for your buck… and it all comes housed in a hard-case clothbound sleeve. Has any other record label ever created such a thing? Are we mad?! We are not mad. As previously mentioned, LL:VI will be Third Man Books (link to TMB site) first commercially available tome and signifies a strong intent for Third Man entering the universe of publishing. Third Man Books, like Language Lessons, will be fearless, imaginative, and eclectic. We hope to be a welcome addition to what is already a very compelling and thrilling independent American literary landscape. Language Lessons: Volume I is now available for pre-sale direct from theThird Man Store and will be available in discerning book and record stores the world over from August 5th. And, almost as interestingly, many in the book will be published for the first time in their lives. * To hang on the wall, five frameable broadsides of poems by C.D. 15. Is the PO still supposed to be at Earth.southernlord.com as stated earlier in this thread? Because right now that site is all sorts of server f'ed up. I guess backup will be good ol plain southerlord.com
  16. I would suggest Pley.com. Think of it like Netflix for Lego's. You can get a different set each month. They send you all the pieces and you can put together the sets that interest you or your 3 year olds and not have to shell out the $$$ at the Lego store each time. In addition, you can lose pieces too and not worry about being charged and stuck with a complete set. But check it out.
  17. Um....prepare for awesome. Lego Batman Tumbler....can be bought at SDCC this week, but will hit stores in September: Lego Ultimate Collector's Series Batman Tumbler, a 1,869-piece vehicle built to minifig scale. That means it's huge: 15 by 9 inches long, with a gorgeous interior cockpit. It'll come with Dark Knight Batman and Joker (the Heath Ledger version) minifigs for $200 Pics:

  19. More Details: Titled Soused, the 50-minute album is due out on September 22/23; the first double-LP pressing will be on red vinyl. The album was recorded early this year and features Sunn O)))’s Stephen O’Malley, Greg Anderson, and Tos Nieuwenhuizen. It was produced by Walker and Peter Walsh with assistance from musical director Mark Warman. According to the label, Sunn O))) approached Walker about appearing on 2009′s Monoliths & Dimensions, and while Walker declined, he approached them with music he’d written specifically for a collaboration in 2013. Walker’s Bish Bosch was one of the best albums of 2012; SUnn O)))’s O’Malley recently shared a monstrous FACT mix. 20. ATO Records and Newport Folk Presents have formed a label partnership celebrating the deep creative rapport between the label and the historic festival. Together we will curate a limited edition vinyl series featuring ATO recording artists who perform at the legendary festival. The repertoire will focus on unreleased material, b-sides, rarities and, of course, recordings culled from the festival. The releases will be sold at the festival, on ATO’s online store and by independent retailers. Newport Folk Festival producer Jay Sweet says, “ATO is a spiritual partner with so many bands; when we thought about doing some small batch vinyl the timing was serendipitous.” ”ATO and our artist community greatly respect Newport Folk Festival so it’s a tremendous honor to work alongside the historical festival,” comments Jon Salter, ATO Records’ General Manager. “The plan is to do a few releases per year, focusing on the quality of the material and its collectible nature.” The 7-inch can be pre-ordered now at http://smarturl.it/NewportVinyl The first release will be a limited edition 7-inch featuring two previously unreleased recordings: Hurray for the Riff Raff’s“Daniella” will appear on the A-side backed with a live version of Benjamin Booker’s “Violent Shiver.” The 7-inch will be available via ATO Records’ e-store beginning July 8 and will be sold on site at Newport Folk Festival ®, which will take place July 25-27, 2014. It will be available at select indie retailers beginning on August 5. In addition to these two artists, ATO Records has Rodrigo y Gabriela, Caitlin Rose, J. Roddy Walston & The Business and Lucero performing at this year’s festival. “Daniella” is one of the first songs that Alynda Lee Segarra of Hurray for the Riff Raff ever wrote and she re-recorded it at Electric Lady Studios this past winter exclusively for the limited edition 7-inch. The band won many new fans with its stand-out performance at last year’s Newport Folk Festival®, which led up to the release of Hurray for the Riff Raff’s critically acclaimed album Small Town Heroes. “Violent Shiver” is the first single from New Orleans-based Benjamin Booker, whose music has been hailed as “a quaking blues punk blitz” by NME. Booker will be making his Newport Folk Festival debut this year just before the release of his self-titled debut album, out August 19. The version of “Violent Shiver” that appears on the 7-inch was recorded in March 2014 at Good Danny’s Studio in Austin, TX during a session for the online blog Daytrotter.com.
  21. Sorry for bumping this, but I noticed that the Live Trax Volume 4 on black vinyl apparently went on sale exclusively for warehouse members...anyone know when that was and how many were pressed? Obviously it sold out, but I would have joined just to buy it on black vinyl and keep my set complete. Edit: Looks like these went up June 18th and sold out pretty fast. They also put up addition black Live trax Volume 2 for warehouse members only. Price was $60 for the black volume 4, which was pretty close to what the price was for RSD.
