Yeah I’m going to the Orlando show, this is a can’t miss tour

Hell yes I’ll finally get to see these awesome bands. Uniform didn’t do much for me the last time I saw them but nevertheless this lineup is crazy, I’m so excited!

I’m for the blue pinwheel variant, I wasn’t going to stay up to get this but I’m glad there were some left

I still don’t know what this is but I bought it sight unseen

I just saw them on Monday and Keith was the happiest I’ve ever seen. Between all the songs he only spoke about how much love they’ve been receiving, how that first day in Orlando was the best show of the tour so far, etc. He was on point during the whole show and the band was super tight. I hope he stays in because to me, his lyrics and wordplay set the band apart from many others. ps: I didn’t buy a record or a tee because $30 was too high for me, now I wish I did lol

As great as this EP is I can’t justify that price for only six tracks. I’ll keep my first pressing with the alt cover.

Ok so we know Equal Vision is finally starting to listen when people clamor for much needed represses, now they need to use that momentum and announce a vinyl version of A Little Less Teeth EP and of course Self Titled

Don’t care about the comic book and extra limited cover 7” release but in extra limited cover 7” release news I’ve received shipping confirmation for the Integrity split and was also refunded $0.24 from Relapse records too 🤷

After one billion years and under total radio silence from Ipecac, I received my copies of Oceanic and Panopticon yesterday can’t wait to spin these!

Yeah the increase in prices the last decade have been astronomical, I’ve decided that my collection is fine as is to free up more monies since everything on earth has been steadily increasing in price

I knew the album would rip when they added Goose behind the kit. He was so good in FBTMOF and in his various other bands. Glad to hear it did hit the sweet spot for everyone, will listen on repeat tomorrow

This record has always been so pricey, but $40 is way too much. They better throw one of those super limited NFTs in to sweeten the deal

Hmm listened to this album twice and I find it pretty dull, which is disappointing because I love almost every Mono album… and then today the orange copy shows up. I’d completely forgotten I’d ordered it. Guess it’s time to make a spreadsheet huh?

I finally got around to spinning my copy this weekend. I got the Neptune Blue indie variant, LP1 was slightly warped but playback wasn’t affected, though side A had a bunch of surface noise. LP 2 had way less surface noise and wasn’t warped. All things considered I still think I’d rather listen to this album on wax than streaming it, it sounds so flat and kind of boring in my car (Villain and Mombasa aside) but I was jamming and vibing the whole way in my comfy chair at home with my headphones on.

That price tho…

Yeah the rigidity is something that people complain about but I don’t mind one bit. But I know they’re capable of being more fluid, too. I caught a show of theirs in 2011 or so where Mike had an issue with his guitar and so he’d walk over to the PA booth. This happened during the drum intro to Harper Lewis so Dave just kept playing over and over and adding little changes here and there. Once everything was fixed they picked up where they left off and it was almost seamless.

Yes dude, I caught a Marriages and Russian Circles show in like 2013 where Dave from RC played drums for both bands, it was so cool and a great show. I regularly wear my Marriages tee.
