  1. ^ I had one about a month ago. I'm still paying for it.
  2. I'm sure the final product in hand with be worth it for everyone. Great album Tre, thanks for putting it out.
  3. Same. I'll just wait for the street date and swing by my HT or order it with a HT+1 discount or HTCASH code (cause they always seem to be floating around). I understand getting excited about a record in the works, but all these pre-orders are kind of getting old to me. If said record doesn't come out till mid November, why not launch one right before that? I'm sure people would rather wait two weeks then two months for their record. And a release like this would still easily sell out without a two month buffer. But, maybe I'm alone of this one. Regardless, very excited to see this bad boy available for under $50 bucks.
  4. I caved and downloaded it. Survey says; this is an instant classic. I think this record's going to concrete them into a main stage headline band now, so so good.
  5. Ditto. Saw them for the first time with CoC and Torche last month. Insanely good band!
  6. Got to say I'm extremely pleased with the way this came out. "The Drugs" gives me goose bumps every time I spin this thing. Great job Scott!
  7. First three are the record stores I frequent a lot and the rest are bars/restaurants and octane's an awesome coffee shop if thats your bag p.s. Download the Scoutmob app on your phone if you can. Lots of freebies and coupons for local places (plus a 50% off one for fantasyland)
  8. Wax N' Facts Criminal Records Fantasyland Records (in Buckhead/Midtown) Vortex Wings Nuts Bone Garden Cantina Woody's Cheesesteaks Octane Coffee Ria's Bluebird There's my two cents. Have fun and be safe duder!
  9. Snagged the 180g and the new Gaza LP. Still waiting for my Kings Road book order to grind to a finish. Ouch my wallet ;P
  10. Lame! I also heard Algernon is calling it quits after this next tour too. Now, why are Vampires Everywhere! still a band??? It's always the good ones to go young :/
  11. I'm on my third listen of the stream. I love it. A lot of in reminds me of "Secret Country" off Omni. Which I think was one of the strong songs (even though they all kick ass) off that album. I also caught a little bit of Dave's noodley Menos playing through out the album. Alex also seems to have a bigger part as far as the synth here too. It's a nice medium between the super dance-pop songs on Omni and the pedal board driven tunes on Planet of Ice and Menos El Oso. My only complaint is that it's feels a little short. Other then that, another winner in my book for Minus the Bear.
  12. Might grab a few things after pay day roles around. But regardless, good luck. Cute baby bump!
  13. I'll be at there ATL show with Propagandhi and Menzingers in October! Road trip?????
  14. I'd consider a "hype" band to have high demand. Any record/merch that causes a fan boy to utter "I'd give my right testicle for ____________". Examples are but not limited to; Gaslight, Thrice, Touche Amore, Defeater, Joyce Manor, etc. Are these all great bands? Yes. Do they make VC trollers with deep pockets cream their pants at the site of the "$80 1st pressing /250 from the 2011 tour with the custom screen printed cover and matching uni-band with handwritten lyric sheet made on paper from the dead sea"? Yes. Should people call them hype bands solely based on the fact they are popular on the board? NO. I think it's more so the fan that cause the hype then the band. Good music is good music. Whether or not they are hyped up/marked up, depends only on the fan. But I digress; Pity Sex is a great band with some very nice people in it. As for being a hype band...I don't see it. When their LP starts popping up for $30, $40, $75! dollars, then I'd consider it.
  15. Looks like a chance for people who missed out on the tour press of "Comet" to snag one in that bundle. Good luck!
  16. Beyond excited to see them again and snag the new album. Anyone planning on going to the Atlanta date?!?! http://www.convergecult.com/
  17. Ha, I always hated sales like this. It's easy to forget you have to hit a certain bar to get your discount. Nice choices BTW!
  18. Really excited that they are taking their time with this. Supporting Caste blew my mind when it came out, and only have high hopes for this release. Also hoping they decided to go with a 2xLP on it. Plus a show with Teenage Bottlerocket and The Menzingers? I'm so down.
  19. ^ The discount comes in pairs. Add one more item to your cart, and the BOGO will come off the lowest priced vinyl.
