A long time ago I got a free record thrown in an order that literally did not have the name of the band or the record title anywhere on the packaging. It was a 45rpm record, but I listened to it on 33 trying to figure out who or what it was. When I finally figured it out, I learned I was playing it at the wrong speed and it actually sucked ass at the real speed. Can't remember the album, some crappy metalcore.

I know a lot of people in this area who have been watching CHL / OHL / QMJHL games and loving the intensity the kids play with. I love living in a true hockey town where people know where to find good hockey. I might head up to watch Niagara play if I ever can fit it in my schedule.

I never shave and get asked daily now if I'm doing no-shave November. No, I'm just continuing being really fuckin lazy. I trim once a month or so just because. I haven't clean shaved in years. It's just not worth it to me, and on top of that I can rock a beard because I'm an educator and it looks academic, so fuck shaving.

I never tried to listen to T. Swift because I figured it was dumb pop shit. Well, this last album is super-awesome pop shit, so I feel like I've been missing out. Unfortunately I can't find mp3s of the first 3 albums anywhere because I'm a dumb idiot baby. Help?

That article Madie posted does nothing for me. I've had this conversation with my buddy before about how STDs aren't all over the place and most are easily cured or managed. What I'm really worried about is making babies. What are the realistic chances each time of baby-making? I know couples can go months trying, so it obviously can't be crazy high, right?

I don't think that's real. @RobDelaney is one of my favorites. He's gotten more and more political, but when he's just goofing around, it's the funniest shit on the internet.

Pretty good start. I liked that they went a good 4 or 5 minutes at the opening without a single line of dialogue. It was a good way to say that a lot of time had passed without some shitty dialogue giving it away. They were a well-oiled house-clearing machine and even Carl was in on it like he was a regular team-member. I didn't like that awkward scene where Carl was hitting on the girl that is like 20 years old. I really wish they didn't kill Sophia; she drives Carl's character development throughout the comics.

I'm watching the premiere now. I have the first 6 seasons on DVD and watched them all recently. I tend to agree that the early seasons are great, but some episodes later in the show are still fantastic. They're slightly more hit-or-miss but overall there's not a lot on TV I'd watch instead.

Bought the membership.. I kinda wanted to anyway, this just pushed me over.

What they said. We go til the end of June and start up in early September. We get 9 weeks between school years, and I worked two jobs all summer long.

+ Went to Canada last night and won a GREAT hockey game. My team is ranked pretty high in the country already and will be climbing on Wednesday when the updates come and our past tourney win gets added. I wouldn't be surprised if we were #1 because we beat the previously ranked #1 team. To be fair, though, most teams only have 3ish games under their belt. We have 11.
