Bumping this crazy old thread because I found this at Black Wax Cafe in the U.S. for only $42 and they have one more in stock:

Absolutely the case for me in many instances. It's the band's sound at that time which originally sucked you in, and in a way, can become your standard when comparing to previous and future releases. That doesn't prevent you from eventually liking a different era/sound more so, obviously... but it does set up that baseline for what the band SHOULD sound like in your own mind.
Yep. And oftentimes, when there are divisive albums like Get Hurt, most of the hate can be measured by the delta between what was expected and what was actually released. People react badly to change (see also the reactions to Rancid's Life Won't Wait , Face to Face's Ignorance is Bliss, or even Weezer's Pinkerton). That's not to say that there weren't open-minded fans who gave the record a chance and genuinely hate it. I think the biggest mistake people can make is not taking to the time to properly digest a record, which can often take years. Personally, I don't think it's a great record but I much prefer it to Handwritten, which is my least favorite of TGA's records.

Wow. Vinyl sold out quick. Bit the bullet and grabbed the white.

So psyched for the Royal T. soundtrack (finally) AND that it's not an RSD exclusive.

Found a bunch of old stuff in my parents' attic recently including these. Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

But does this have the OG Frontier samples? I would assume no...I bought it anyway tho.
Can you imagine the shit storm that would ensue if it had the original samples??? But no, it's not OGs on this press either.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Ordered.
My copy showed up today. Great pressing.

I don't see these guys staying broken up for good. I was never a superfan but Question the Answers was one of those cornerstone albums for me in the 90s.
P.S. the current infighting on this thread is exhausting and embarrassing. Can one of you please do us all a favor and stop responding to the other?

I figured this is something many people here would geek out over. I saw this on a facebook group about punk records. It's a zeotrope 7" with Super Mario Bros. as one side and Duck Hunt on the other side. The packaging is made to look like the NES game cartridge. I checked but I didn't see this posted anywhere else.
Here's a YouTube video of what the animation looks like:

Hit me up if you're down to sell. I can make a strong offer.

Jump on this Rough Trade steal people. Trust me:

Midnight Manor, the much anticipated sophomore album of the six-piece rock outfit The Nude Party is released via New West Records. This is the good time album of 2020 that has energy, passion and instant pop nuggets. It takes bits of early 70's Rolling Stones, The Modern Lovers, The Velvet Underground and classic Southern rock, and makes something you can't help but put on repeat.
Midnight Manor, the much anticipated sophomore album of the six-piece rock outfit The Nude Party is released via New West Records. Following two years of non-stop touring in support of their eponymous debut release, the band returned to their farmhouse in New York’s Catskill Mountains to record the follow up to their acclaimed 2018 self-titled debut. Like The Band’s sacred home-recording habitat The Big Pink, The Nude Party’s communal dwelling provided the landscape and proximity to focus on deepening their bonds through music. It was at the Manor that the band of childhood friends could shift their energies from the archetypical emotional journeys of mid-twenty-somethings towards rebuilding their road-worn relationships with one another, leading them to write Midnight Manor - an album that lead singer Patton Magee describes as “a stone skipping over troubled waters”. With Midnight Manor, The Nude Party shine a light on their past while at the same time moving towards a brighter future.

Just got my cancellation email from Target. Glad I grabbed my Port of Sound copy as insurance.

Looks like Rancid, Life Won't Wait got a repress since it's available now at ImportCds and Pop Market:

Maybe they didn't get their full allotment to begin with (I have no idea. I'm just speculating).
Right. But with the logistics networks that Target and Amazon have, it's surprising it would take so long to get from Point A to Point B. Maybe the records are held up in the Czech Republic.
-
Is it possible that the Target and Amazon delays are due to more copies being pressed? If not, I can't figure out why it would take so long for these mega-retailers to get their stock.

I just ordered one, why not. Hopefully they actually do get a few back in stock, but I'm not too optimistic. If anyone can kindly help out with a copy, I'd be extremely grateful! 🤞
I've thrown it out there before on this thread but I'll do it again. Still waiting to see of my Target order gets fulfilled. If it does, I'm happy to let go of my Port of Sound (white/red) copy for cost plus shipping.
-
I gotta say, Suga's practice of "flipping" its new stock is pretty distasteful. This is far from the only release where they've done this.
-
My Port of Sound copy is also red/white.
-
My Port of Sound order just shipped. Still waiting on Target.
-
Port of Sound said they don't have these in stock right now but they're due in on Friday and Monday. That gives me hope that my Target order will still get fulfilled.
