That both my kids already have strong opinions about Chuck Ragan's discography and prefer Darkness on the Edge of Town to Doc McStuffins is one of the many joys that make my life at age 36 a million times more fulfilling than I ever imagined in would be.

Sometimes I get redundant questions, weird messages, or perfectly appropriate PMs that just, for whatever reason, make me not want to respond or engage with the sender.  Is there a way to block someone from PMing you?  
 
I know that "Hey...I don't want to reply to this message because xyz...sorry..." or just ignoring the 2-3 follow up PMs asking me why I haven't responded is always an option but a non-confrontational alternative where I just don't hear from that person ever again would be cool.
 
If it exists, let me know.  I promise that it's just for random unimportant Qs or weird aggressive offers that I don't want to engage with and not for all the nice, swell, sociable members of VC who I always love PMing with. Thanks.

anyone else catch that the album doesn't play side-a through f?  after sides a and b, the following acts jump around different sides of different discs that are (you might have guessed) pressed at different speeds.  as much as i like the musical content of this record, i think the band jumped the shark.

I'm really excited for this but damn, I know I'll freak out about having to remove the platter from my pro-ject TWO times, because the second disc is fucking 45rpm. I'll most likely sit through the LP one time, max..

According to Polyvinyl's site the Walker/Back of Dave split 7" came out 20 years ago today and was their first music release. My Polyvinyl collection started with an American Football CD in 2000, but started growing to this soon after. With the Owen/Into It. Over It. split coming out next month this picture will already be outdated, but I'm sure I'll always be buying a few things from them each year. And it also means more Airheads with my mail orders, which is nice.
Note: While I included Matt Pond PA's non-Polyvinyl albums that they pressed, I left out Headlights' The Enemies EP and Owen's (the ep) since they were pressed by Mi Amante in Germany.

Whoever made this petition doesn't understand how Kickstarter works. When you back anything you're basically an investor with 0 stake in a project that isn't guaranteed to come to fruition in any way.
I'd actually be a little annoyed if these backers got their pledges refunded (which would never happen anyways), they need to learn that their poor choices have consequences.

I'm sure this doesn't apply to all cases but whenever I see VG++ as a grade I just imagine the obfuscating buffer of self-interest, bias, and desperation that keeps sellers from using a normal grading scale.  Sometimes it's followed by bizarre cognitive dissonance like the description above but sometimes it just sits there, on its own, daring you to ignore your instincts and proceed with the transaction at your own risk.

Arent you an english champ. I used the past simple tense of "come" which is "came" since my assholeness had already been used, but since youre a champ, we can use the past perfect tense of "had come or have come." My bad B, thanks for playing.
