Almost pulled the trigger on the cassettes, but then I remembered that cassettes are stupid. 

Finest Vinyl in Germany has a colored and a black version up for presale. These could be Euro variants but I'm not pulling the trigger until S1D announces the pressing info.

A lot of people on the Springsteen boards are bitching about the recycled nature of this record (because it's all old material) and the fact that Springsteen is just going through the motions to satisfy his release obligations under his Sony contract.
 
Personally, I'm happy to hear any material Bruce wants to put out. As the Tracks boxed set has proven, Springsteen's unreleased material is better than a lot of artists can hope for.

I got a paypal refund for what was missing from my order. Can't ask for more than that. To be honest if they gave me a store credit I still would've been happy because I do plan on ordering from them again in the future. I didn't realize they were getting legitimate shit for all this. But then again I always underestimate the self-important dildos that buy records.

Why are people downvoting any comments like this? I understand the store doesn't owe us their lives or anything and we're getting refunded etc. but what happened with the majority of peoples' orders is unacceptable for any store. You have a right as a customer to be upset. Just sayin'.

If I were you I would stay off the complete train. SoS is going the way Reinventing Axl Rose. Plus, it's nice when a new release of one of your favorite bands isn't a source of stress.

Pretty interesting comments from a guy who lists every impossible-to-reach band and songwriter that he now wants everyone to disassociate him from, as reference points for what each new record he writes will sound like...I mean even if all that is a joke, you can't blame some people for taking it seriously.
 
I give them one or two more records before Brian ends Gaslight and gets a new band. Because in the end, this album they're writing will inevitably sound and be received like a Gaslight Anthem record and that's clearly not working for him anymore.
