Finally saw Rudderless. What should have been really sad and heartbreaking ended up being glossed over and breezed through. The music was great and I'd absolutely pick up the soundtrack, but the movie needed better direction and editing to bring it together and give it the emotion that was easily there, but never really gotten into. There was a pretty great WTF/twist moment that I didn't see coming, but then they skimmed through it once again and didn't let the characters really react to anything.

I do love that version of Fake Plastic Trees... but once again there are so many good soundtracks out there that could get pressed, and they go and press one that nobody was asking for.

This. While I enjoy their new stuff, I've not really fallen in love with anything since ROTAC. While still musically fantastic the new direction just doesn't appeal to me the same way.

What's weird is that its their 3rd Coltrane release. Had the others sold out that would make sense, but they're still available.

Just gone mine along with the book today in California. That clear blue in green is pretty gorgeous. Really looking forward to getting a chance to listen to it.

Even though I wish they'd continued with the HT variants, the coke bottle does look pretty nice and Kung Fu included a few old school Ataris and KFR pins and stickers.

This film always bugged me. King Kong had to climb a skyscraper. Godzilla is the size of a skyscraper. Why are they fighting? (with that being said, it's a great item and fun score to listen to)
