I tend to agree with 44 days - that might be a bit long but it doesn't sound like there's a huge rush to file a claim today. How long has it been since you sent him the first message? There may have been a real emergency in the seller's life. Give the seller a reasonable amount of time to respond.

$5 is a really good price for a single. $18 to ship a single to Canada really sucks.

You gotta be patient if you order from B&N. Everything was "in stock" when I ordered a couple of days ago. Last night I got two separate emails that one of the three items I ordered was on the way. I got a message this morning that the third item is delayed.

Highly unlikely they will be fliped again. There are about 10 copies on Discogs in that price range and they've been there for a couple of weeks. If it is difficult to sell them at $250, how could you possibly buy one and reflip it? They will never disappear but after the flipper scum drop their prices or people cave in and pay the prices listed now, you won't see them for sale a lot but they will show up from time to time.

It is/was. Got a copy from Juno shipped to Canada for just over $40 and I'm quite pleased. Would I rather get it for $25? Sure. But I'm not complaining on this one.

It was rare that they sold under $200. $200 - $300 was pretty common.

Was this news from someone at Sunrise? 'Cause somebody from there told me the same thing - but I have heard it nowhere else and it makes almost no sense.

When you're in Canada and find out stuff hasn't arrived on RSD, it's super frustrating. However, it can be really great when stuff does show up later and nobody is around....

I've been looking near and far. This one will be tough.

I don't know what reason you have to trust the "industry person" but when somebody tells me "these are all fake, but here's £200", I get incredibly suspicious.

It's going to become more and more rare for music to be reissued from original analog tapes. I don't know anything about the Zeppelin masters but the first album is way over 40 years old. If that tape hasn't been stored in museum-quality conditions all that time, it's condition would be highly suspect.

Not surprising the label would balk a bit - there's no way they have very many gold copies lying around and I suspect they have enough complaints that it would require them to do a whole new gold run to satisfy everybody. I'm thinking I should maybe grab a black copy in the interim.
