Seattle presale got pushed back to 3 pm local time due to the issues with the site. 

Anybody want to start an AFI cover band, call ourselves AFI, and start bootlegging live shows?

Just got an email from Livenation, with a save the date for a March 11, 2023 show the the KIA Forum in CA. So there's a 20th anniversary show, at least. 

Holding off on listening until tonight, since the vinyl should be arriving this afternoon.

Going into it expecting Permanent Rebellion to still be the standout based off what I'm seeing, though.

If they do a 20th anniversary tour for STS, I'd be pretty excited.

Damn, just missed them apparently! Need to order this still, and that would have been cool. Especially since I dropped my wife's autographed copy of Menos el Oso and bent the corner... I owe her now haha.

The blue/black swirl looks pretty cool from the pictures I've seen. Mine should be here today, excited to see how it turned out.

As is the case 99% of the time, subreddits are the shittiest online communities. 

Just a quick look at Discogs... most appear to be "unofficial". Still wild.

The index isn't great. Lot of good deals pop up that don't seem to appear on there.

Definitely not trying to defend Ross/ETR. This is just what happens when labels own distribution rights. Nothing to do with the vinyl specifically either, as I can't imagine Fred and the band have personally approved every single CD version/reissue that the label put out since the original release.

So, ETR probably got the distribution rights from the label (Interscope still, I assume?), who has authority to release the music without the band's consent. Sounds like Fred understand how those major label contracts work?

Walmart's online cancelation process is the absolute worst. They always seem to ship them anyways, apparently. Did they refund you for the original purchase already?

Yeah. At least that makes the whole vinyl pressing process seem more environmentally friendly? Better than trash, I suppose.

I'll also vouch for the Spin Clean. Have ran hundred of records through it, and the results have been great so far. Like @N8TRU , I have also saved some second hand albums that really looked worse for the wear. 

I want to upgrade to an ultrasonic someday, but for now this is doing the job quite well.
