I’m a little behind as well, but so far Mortuous, Acephalix, Innumerable Forms and Phobophilic are stand-outs. Sumerlands too, I wish I could make it to their stacked record release show next week.

Love the aesthetics of this release. Also second that Sellout is a great book. Read it while listening to each respective band this summer and learned a lot.

Gel have worked really hard this year to get out there. These kids are going to be huge if they keep it up. Really curious to see who will be putting out their eventual full length, next year or whenever.

Can't say enough good things about this record. Pinnacle of progressive 90s hardcore.

Boy I'm glad I don't care for Underoath and am not faced with this dilemma. How lame. I really hope this doesn't become a thing that other labels suddenly feel they have to try.
