Really exciting. I could totally see them doing an NYC show and a Bay Area show too.

ShopHouse no longer exists unfortunately. Amsterdam Falafel is pretty good and there are a few locations around the city. Fare Well on H St is really good. Thai X-ing is an amazing thai place that can do vegetarian dishes. In fact, on sunday they are strictly vegetarian. You might also want to check out Bad Saint. They are one of the best restaurants in the city but you have to wait in line (no reservations).
When looking at music venues & food, don't forget to check out The Pinch and Comet Ping Pong.  
As far as record stores, Songbyrd is decent (and they are a veggie restaurant), Smash records has some good stuff and so does Joint Custody. 
If you're looking for off the beaten path stuff, try checking Atlas Obscura.

I would also recommend Teddy Roosevelt Island. It's pretty amazing.

at first I sort of read it as him saying he recognizes this behavior in himself and is working to eradicate it. Which, kudos I guess. It's part of learning and growing. But the implication is that he's done something ugly someone else is going to have to live with and that...too much.
 
i will freely admit that my reading of this was very much colored by my past experiences with Ian and Adam, which have all been very positive.

I don't like what's being hinted at here. Seems like some people are glossing over that part. Really makes it tough to ever want to listen to his music ever again. 

Coming from a board where people give feedback like this: "received record with corner ding. DONT TRUST THIS PERSON. BURN HIM WITH FIRE!!!" that's a little funny. 

I think reminders like this make it hard to forget.

To clarify: the label is still a label. You can still mailorder and / or order stuff for your distro. Instead of thousands of titles, it will soon be a couple hundred.
 
The distro: we ran it for 20 years and that's a long time. It was a huge success and achieved far more than we originally envisioned, as well as fostering other people's labels, businesses, and even a fest! We provided health care. We did it all. Now we want to focus on the label (and other interests). 
 
10 LPs + larger mailer box = 6 pounds. That's the weight I put in the listing. No padding for fees as it's a flat-deal. If it's $60 for overseas shipping, I suspect that splitting will be $30 each. There would be extra labor (time), extra tape, and an extra box ($1.50), so we would have to add $5 for that... so you would be right back at $60.
 
It would be WAY BETTER for overseas friends to pool their orders together and write us. We can ship 90 records to Europe pretty cheap via other delivery companies. But then you have to be motivated and have a bunch of friends who are equally motivated. Or maybe you run a distro? You can still order a bunch of grab bags.

I noticed this too! I kept hearing little skips and huge volume increases at the ends of songs (when they were supposed to be fading out). Definitely not the best first impression, quality-wise.

I just gave this a listen and the amount of autotune is really off putting. Some of the songs are alright but it sounds too heavily produced for me

Please note this is a personal opinion. I really wanted to like this album. Like, really really wanted to like it, but I just can't get into it. It sounds like a bad side project imo. Blink has officially derailed for me.

Not that the music really calls for any great drumming, but I wouldn't call this a loss.
