didnt think about this but you mightve found a great way to save $$ there

i paid the small shipping fee, like 9 Eu and it ended up being sent through fedEx anyway so when you go past the first option, be ready for anything.

usually check both, problem with EU though is that if you order more than a single gatefold, the ship through FedEx or some other premium services. You get charged taxes (around 5-10%) which is alright.. but they charge you a custom fee around 15$ for being taxed. You pay 17$ even though the import charges are 2$. they also use somewhat cheaper mailer than us.. or maybe its the distance that tests them more but ive gotten packages that were so damaged it was ridiculous. theyre nice and all, then send replacement but guess what? you pay the same goddamn fees on your replacement. so for 2 records, i paid an extra 24$ twice. 48$ more for a 40$ order. Not their fault at all, but be aware that it might end up being very expensive. If you order a single record, go EU, if youre going to pick anything else with it, bite the bullet and go US.

and once weve bought all the reissues theyll announce the boxset with demos and shit.. nevertheless, ill buy this as soon as its on glacial pace.

meh, fuck him. find someone, anyone, in germany and purchase something, file a paypal dispute, get item for free. try to get something of same value though.. the ebay revenge system should not be abused so respect the rules.
 
seriously though.. it sucks, but he may only be like wtf?!? 10 weeks!!!?? i mean you know its land shipping or whatever for the US but id be fuckin surprised if it didnt change for oversea. if I was to write someone to know wheres my shit and be told "well, cant you read, its on a boat somewhere and will arrive within 3 months, now go suck a dick you illiterate german scum"  i would seriously fuck your week... you wouldn't know what hit you.
 
back to the point though.. he may be like wtf and thinking he might be getting scammed so hes protecting himself. If everything goes well, he will cancel the dispute when the package gets to him. If not, fight as good as you can and make sure you fucking ruin his week. theres are lots of creative ways of doing so.

depends on your needs, what you want though is probably a hybrid. theyre kinda like old people's mountain bike. Wheels are a bit thinner, and slicker for the street but they offer some grip for any kind of terrain. a cyclocross bike could be pretty cool too, more exciting to me at least, better geometry and can be quite fast. they make them in single speed/gear too if you want a simple and easy to fix ride.

the cable will only protect you from kids and vandals. the same kind that would put a knife through your tires. bike thieves will cut it in literally 1 second and noone around will do shit or even notice them. theres a lot of stolen bikes every years but when you look how people often lock their bikes its just easy for someone to steal them. if you want to really make sure nothing ever happens to yours
 
-Keep your bike in a well lit place with lots of people
-take the seat with you if you have something like a fizik or brooks saddle.
-detach your front wheel and lock it in the u lock that goes through your frame and rear wheel
-get a shorter u lock, the longer it is the easier it is to break or to put a car jack in and bust it open. the hip lock is cool but so heavy.. you can however wear it around your waist 
 
dont get super expensive parts for a commuting bike (mostly saddles and those fancy not meant for the street tri spoke wheels) and just be more protected than the bike next to yours. theyll stole the other one. It seems shitty walmart mountain bikes and old bikes are the most stolen.. in part because theyre not easily traceable, theyre not locked properly but also because theyre easy to be sold for cheap in the next hour. they just roam around on the bike and offer it for 100$ and end up selling it for 20-30$.

Theres a lot of people here but after receiving major coverage they must have like 100k orders on backlog. i got tired of waiting for the production to overcome this and just ordered one so i would get it before the summer. Yes the Carbon is a great piece but at this price, its fully worth it to wait for am orbit. waiting will suck but im sure i did the good thing.
