Obviously a mistake, no one freak out. Call up customer service and explain what happened and they should be able to get you a replacement. There's only so many people answering phone calls, be patient and everything will get sorted out.
 

Vinyl apparently has become the new craze to own everything on. If it wasnt properly released on vinyl, I am positive you can get it in other formats. Support artists and music and stop trying to be so cool because you want a record that sounds like crap off a file you downloaded anyways

Pretty big fail going on.
To get it pressed legally you need to get permission from the label and pay their licensing fee. You don't need to be a millionaire, but $5,000 would be a good start.
If you want to boot it. Find a sketchy pressing plant and find the best quality file you can. These will be guaranteed to sound worse than the file you sourced it from, but it will be on vinyl.
Or you could be a normal human and just accept that it isn't on vinyl.

I dated a girl for about two years who was hardcore into Ani Difranco's music. For her birthday I got her a signed poster all framed and nice. This thread has prompted me to re-listen to her music and reminisce about simpler times.

This is one of the best sounding vinyl I have in my collection.  Everything sounds so clean yet so heavy and deep.  I am so happy with this.  Damn shame some can't enjoy this.

I got mine. I didn't listen all the way but I did throw on Zero and Porcellina, as I read on another forum those were two problem tracks (and Disarm and Tonight Tonight, just because). I did find some distortion on Zero - I heard it referred to as inner groove distortion and that makes sense. A bit of a buzz. Or possibly clipping. But if I hadn't been looking for it, with headphones, I may not have noticed it. I'm sure it would drive some people crazy but it won't bother me. The runoff deadwax on side I is really small - probably the smallest I've ever noticed. Porcellina sounded fine to me. And it really is a beautiful package.

Unless you post your turntable model/cartridge/general set-up, I have no choice but to ignore your cries of "my vinyl sounds like shit!" and assume you're listening on a Crosley.

The box set being discussed here should be out some time around the middle of March or so. It will contain every last song the Lillingtons recorded and all the LP's will have covers, will all be on 180 gram vinyl and they will all be colored vinyl........
