  1. shit not an album...and only like 2 songs and a remix...will def grab as I have to keep RD collection intact...cant wait for a new LP though
  2. Really solid band, VILLAGES (has pretty extensive catalog of releases) the newest which is a burner, is pressed on vinyl and available via his band camp. You also can stream the entire album too before buying, but trust me its very very good stuff...Key tracks to check out: Devouring the Whole, Pillars in Half Light, and Out of the Mines.... https://villages1.bandcamp.com/album/procession-acts Limited Edition LP with hand numbered newsprint insert. Edition of 300.
  3. This is just an educated guess...but I would assume they are same or damn close...
  4. I'm 99% sure bella union just gets 200 clear copies doubt there will be any difference! Thank god I skipped the bella the other day... SUBPOP all the way
  5. ^^^ Oh yea the Greater than God EP...on Sarah Records...yea Sarah Records has such a huge cult following its so damn hard to find the rarer stuff on that label. I went through a phase where I sought all the Sarah releases...I gave up after I collected about 15 - 7"s, 10 LPs & Compilations, and 3 10"s, its was getting TOO EXPENSIVE!~ Maybe one day I will continue it... Anyone have any Sarah Recs they are looking to part with? lol
  6. Yea I never doubted this wouldn't get funded! Super happy with a Secret Shine Test pressing....(and colored edition) DRDS PS still love Secret Shine's 10" EP -- just a matter of waiting for one to show up. Didn't know of a 10", I have their 3 7"s they put out back in the day (also have 2 never 7s) but a 10" sounds tasty! 10" are my favorite...heres to both of us finding one!!!
  7. Im not even going to go and read everyone's opinions but from little skimmings seems like there are strong difference of opinions... I like it more than Benji (few great songs, a lot of filler)...musically this album is best he has done...vocal style I still struggle with but this is a great LP overall! Keep pumping out the jams Koz!
  8. Just in case some of you don't get the emails... ONLYL 50 Copies left...and T-shirt bundle is done Friday!
  9. So assume he didn't post the standard black copy? As we all know how that looks! Unless one of those are 180g and decided to change that variant? Kind wish I went with retail cause those look great!
  10. Also BET CHATWIN of Talvihorros https://talvihorros.bandcamp.com/ The Sleeper Awakes 12" Beauty of an album!! His whole catalog is solid!!! Sorry for double post but tons of great stuff out there
  11. Also mega stocked for this soundtrack! Love when nils is not just slow piano... http://www.erasedtapes.com/storehttp://www.erasedtapes.com/store/releasereviews/125 Music for motion picture Victoria - new track, Them is great - https://m.soundcloud.com/erasedtapes/nils-frahm-for
  12. Awesome now I can get rid of my noisy copy of Decline... Although I like having a distinguishing factor between pressings but kranky is known to just keep it all the same! But yes these are like CLASSIC ambient music - there like owning pink Floyd darkside, bob dylan Highway or miles kind of blue...
  13. So is this thread dying cause the other has more replies lol... This was first but either way someone delete one
  14. Yea I was bugging Matt and the other guy before it was up to order, so I got one from them we both probably were asking at same time lol... Not sure if he got RnR too? I have my bullmoose one but would guess he got some of those too?
  15. My local came through again!!! Just hope its not marked up too much, they have tendency to do so but not crazy up...
  16. Just came across this 7" and was going to post, and of course it was already here This is pretty damn good for a debut EP...
  17. Don't get me wrong they aren't "bad" but I think the question was which is better? Def originals, the Rhino is more punchy sounding but sacrifices Ian's vocals a bit...And the vocals are my favorite part of JD, so may be why I lean more toward the originals... I mean you can't go wrong either way but if you were big fan an original is worth it IMO
  18. All these 10" Were sold individually as well as come in the box set! However the clear are supposed to be just for the set, but I would bet there were more pressed that the 500 and that over flow got distributed? was more speaking to someone on here who gets the set would likely never break it up... Anyway good luck to everyone, looks like these are starting to pop up all over...fingers crossed mine comes in
  19. Original copies of Closer and Unknown Pleasure (either US or UK pressing) are arguably the best... Try to get a factory issued pressing that isn't one of the modern remasters and you will be good... Same goes for Still (any original copies, as well as the italian import sound great!) I can't speak for Substance...But stay away from the RHINO pressings...
  20. I've owned 4 copies of Still... I had that big reissue with the big cloth bound book, but ended up letting it go (bought used) just because the pressing wasn't as good as the other 3 I had. I don't care for the modern remastering of Joy Division, sometimes loses its dirty "almost cheap" sound that I love! I think I ended up keeping an Italian (second) pressing (it was probably the cheapest packaging, slim cardboard) and the vinyl quite thin, but man does it sound fucking nice...still don't understand it but the point of all this is, ITS SUPER EASY TO FIND COPIES because there are so many pressings. Just give it time. Every JD album I own has been bought used...(that includes original pressings of UP and Closer) ... If you don't have any JD in your collection get on that asap! Also happy with a reissue of Substance (as all I've ever seen are bootleg garbage copies? So if this is an official Substance release, super happy to finally own it?
  21. Mary Onettes Austra Still Corners** Crocodiles Haunted Hearts Heavenly Beat** I Break Horses** Ice Choir Letting Up Despite Great Faults ** are extra "summer dreamy" lol
  22. would be highly doubtful someone would break up a box set! But then again people do crazy stuff....Not trying to be a debby downer but I know id never break up a box set even if I hated a piece of it! (gotta keep things complete
  23. if anyone was unaware of this fucking ripping album, listen here! Warm Graves DRDS89 & Juan this is up your alley!! (a little post-rock, but def in the shoegaze experimental side of rock) this album is killer start to finish...
