The digital downloads are $4. They also leaked the music for free previously. I don't see the harm in charging $25 taking into considering that it helps to finance Will Swan's label and that Jon Mess himself designed/painted the artwork. Do I personally wish they would have charged $15 for it? Sure. However, I don't see this as the band disrespecting their fans. 
What is the recommended profit margin for a vinyl release?

I don't even want to get into the ethics of digital music, all I'm saying is, it's a shameless cash grab. You can disagree all you want, but it is what it is, when's the last time you paid $6 per song? It's disrespectful because they know who their fanbase is, and they know people will buy into it, and they don't care, and are glad to find some suckers to make a quick buck off of, and it's just sad to see that shit. Hopefully this doesn't become more prevalent, you can see for yourself the "industry" average bands charge and figure out your own acceptable profit margin, apparently it's pretty big for you.  

Then don't fucking buy it and let us spend our money how we see fit. You can go buy your MOV reissues and support some European guys.

I better not see any of you in an MOV reissue thread complaining about $45 being too much for an imported 180g double LP.

It was my sophomore year in college, I was in a fraternity, and I took this girl to a date party. For those of you who don't know what a "date party" is... it's basically an unsupervised high school dance where everyone is really drunk and makes bad decisions. Anyway, I had been talking to this girl on and off for about a month. I wasn't really that into her. I was more into her best friend but her best friend was dating a fraternity brother of mine so I decided to go for her friend instead. She was odd and quirky and a little out there for me. We went to the date party and of course got really drunk blah blah blah ended back up in my room. This was our first time to fool around so I was excited but nervous (was on a bit of a drought). She starts with a little foreplay jerking me off while we're making out. I take her shirt off and start playing around there and then she says "Do you want me to give you a blow job?". Of course I oblige and 2 second after she starts she then stops and asks me "Are you close yet?". Seriously? You just started. No, I'm not close. So I politely say "No, not really." and she goes back to the HJ. After awhile she finally gets me off and well it had been awhile so there was a bit of a mess. Also, i'd hop on that split with Fires while they are on ebay. It was a bitch to find originally. Once those are gone, I assume it will be a bitch again.

My intelligence is feeling slightly insulted right now, lol. Of course I know that Hot Topic/Fueled By Ramen didn't release a 24k gold-plated record of a Panic! At The Disco album, that you wouldn't even be able to play, for $21. That's actually kinda hilarious, omg. I know that when I first started becoming interested in vinyl, I wasn't even aware that variants other than black even existed. haha. So, that being said. If I took some time to frame it all nice in a plaque sort of fashion and someone with limited knowledge took a look at it, they might be tricked into thinking it could be worth something.
