That is pretty ridiculous. Dudes is the worst. That being said when I do buy vinyl from the Buy / Sell Thread I do pay extra if the poster is a lady person. 'Cause, ya know, records is more valuable if they were handled by a non penised entity.

I've actually never noticed anything to over the top around here when lady posters pop up. I used to spend a bunch of time of Video game forums and those were super awkward when someone was "outed" as having lady parts.

See I can actually understand people having religious objections to homosexuality. I think their ideology is fucked, but I can get where their coming from. What I've been bashing my head against the wall about are the Tea Party members and general Right Wingers who are fighting against gay rights at a government level. I've had to deal with a ton of them and it's really just making hate everything. Arguing with them is just some of the most frusterating conversations of my life. How is enacting anti-gay laws not "Big Government trying to run the lives it's citizens"? If I question them on why government should intervene on marriage equality issues they will always bring up how being gay is a sin. Which leads to the whole seperation of church and state. I had one guy actually go on and on about how he is all for big government, as long as that government is the Church. It's just infuriating dealing with people who believe that big government is evil when we are talking about Taxing corporations or enforcing EPA Regulations but believe in big government micromanaging an individuals personal life.

Would probably be a good way to get fired and you do seem to want a change. So, go for it.

The better your work ethic and the harder you work, the higher the expectations will be set for you. It sucks, but it is what it is. I know I've had, and still have issues with this. The way I figure it I can just try hard to be a worse worker or I can just try and suck it up. Honestly within a few days I should know if my effort is appreciated. They just opened up a Coordinator position where I work and by all logical metrics I am most deserving of the job. I outproduce my coworkers by a significant volume. My job knowledge is more varied and greater than my coworkers. I am significantly more helpful than my coworkers. The only area where I am not as good as my coworkers is that I don't "toot my own horn" enough. I feel like I have tried to make obvious to my boss what I do and I've made clear that I have my aspirations set upon moving up in the company.

Wishing you the best with all this. However, sometimes in life the best changes are those that are kind of unexpectedly forced upon you.

I swear having a good work ethic is the absolute worst thing a worker can have. Nothing will lead to more resentment as an employee than pulling down a bigger share of the workload. Especially since boss' never seem to adequately compensate the harder working individuals. As long as the work is being done boss' will just try and keep the status quo.

I'm bare bones coverage on a 2010 Hyundai with a DUI and I pay $36 a month. When I turned 18 I was paying $180 a month with only a speeding ticket on my record. That was on a few year old Saturn at the time.
