  1. I'm going for the black + a CD ('cause I'm a sucker) and that's it. I'm glad they are making god old black available at first shot. Now only if this cart worked...
  2. If this tracklisting ends up beign the right one, well Mr. Corgan, you'll once again will take my money.
  3. I tend to disagree about the bonus material on MCiS/TAFH sets. Besides the fact that some of the songs were previously available via bootlegs and, most important, the unexplained addition of regular TAFH songs in the MCiS box, he managed to put together a wide variety of songs from different steps of the process. And if Corgan hadn't slipped the demos back in the 00's both boxes would have been better received by the fanbase. Unfortunately, it seems that he doesn't have much more to dig from his vaults, or at least doesn't have enough music to justify a 6-disc set so it was all about managing the project with fillers, live stuff and unreleased music. But that didn't, at least for me, harm the experience as the sequence of so much music is pretty pleasant to be listened to as a whole. Back to Adore, I've always enjoyed the electric demos while he also has the acoustic ones to consider, besides the stuff he included in Rotten Apples. I'll be interesting to have an even deeper insight on how that album came to life, I suspect the band tried different things with different producers and probably ended up with a good portion of music that became shelved.
  4. I don't know how (would need to read the credits but that will only happen in september) but they somehow found a way to overcome the lack of a female vocalist, or at least her vocals.
  5. Tough question. I'd say it's much, much more related to Around than to Pipe Dreams. But perhaps the net holes a wider this time?
  6. I had this locked in my mind until Sway started to flow that day. Won't go much further as promised to Ryan but yes, they did it. I'd say that it will suit your eager ears if you enjoyed Around but somehow missed a bit of the urgency of Distressor. I'm not a big fan of Pipe Dreams, it's Whirr going for a route where they're not at the top of their game, a bit average and throw away. But Sway is deeper and gloomy and soft and heavy and beautiful all at the same time. Hopefully GF will release a black 180g version of it to go along with previous releases. It would make so much sense.
  7. I can safely say it's the best Whirr / Whirl record. Fear not, guys.
  8. Yep. Probably the best record ordering day of the year, along with Sunn O)))s Terrestrials + shirt and Earth's Hex and Bees Made Honey bundles.
  9. Ryan contacted me and indeed the full album stream was meant to be kept private. So here's my public apologies for somehow posting that link, which I never thought wasn't public. Anyways, like I wrote, the album is amazing and you should order one in case you didn't. Your whole familiy will be pleased and will sing along while you're listening to it during sunday mornings.
  10. BTW, tracklisting: 1- Mumble 2 - Dry 3 - Clear 4 - Heavy 5 - Sway 6 - Lines 7 - Feel
  11. Then I'll leave this window open until my order arrives. Two months without turning this PC off.
  12. Scroll down, you'll see the tracklisting. Then in that tiny "control panel" (<< || >>) you can forward the songs
  13. BTW, the album is great. Kind of everything you'd expect if someone told you the band merged the aforementioned albums. And fans of Nothing's Guilty Of Everything now have a new album to look for.
  14. Hmmm, might've been my mistake. Try this one: https://soundcloud.com/graveface/sets/whirr-sway/s-F3Et5 Works here.
  15. Actually, the whole album can be streamed via: https://soundcloud.com/graveface/sets/whirr-sway/ A mix between Distressor and Around, so far. First listen is pleasant.
  16. From what I've read, there's no way to do it differently since the original, hi-res files have been lost due to a hard disc crash. Flenser is usually pretty aware of quality standards and I'm sure this album couldn't be in better hands under these circumnstances.
  17. I'm not a big fan of Walker's recent work despite the general appreciation. But recognize the thrills the listeners get and how unique the music is. Anyways, O'Malley is a big fan of Walker and hopefully it will surpass Terrestrials which was more an Ulver record with minor Sunn O))) input than a true collaboration (sorry, Terrestrials lovers).
  18. Thanks, will do the trick until my box is here. As I suspected, the album is a grower but unfortunately it won't get close to its previous records. But it's a pleasant listen, I'm getting satisfied with it. Interesting fact is that Justin's vocal are softer and he's sounding a lot like James Iha. Sometimes it sounds like I'm listening to a James Iha album.
