  1. It's up but the content of the special edition wasn't revealed. Kind of a blind purchase.
  2. Sounds like next friday we'll be up for a treat.
  3. Ok, I've travelled down to Argentina (can't get enough of Buenos Aires, one of my favorite cities) to watch them along with Wild Nothing. Both bands are constantly played around here so you can guess that it was a promising experience. I was surprised that Wild Nothing had something close to 40% of the set based on new songs. He probably has an album ready to go at this point, new songs are as good as anything you'd expect from him. Diiv played faster than in the album and the new singles (I was aware of that tendency), they have this "punk" / "whatever" attitude that pushes them away from the studio recordings so I'd say it wasn't the right occasion to judge the songs that I'vent heard before. Has a great time, argentinians were crazy, stagedived, climbed the stage, it was fun. I'd say Diiv delivered exactly what I expected from them but Wild Nothing went further and surprised me with somewhat of a huge and very well crafted sound.
  4. Do you have that Agarthi live LP in black vinyl? Would you consider selling it?
  5. Second song / single is as great as the first. I have nothing but the highest expectations for this album. One of my favorite bands from the recent years.
  6. Ended up ordering it in conjunction with the Inventions EP to combine shipping. I recognize EitS has been slowly losing their sparkle as they softened their sound and I don't expect this one to go anywhere else.
  7. I'm loving this album. It will be tough to ignore it and let it go.
  8. Got my Flenzo package yesterday with Heat Dust, Bosse de Nage and Black Wing. The Black Wing album is amazing and Dan is a seriously talented guy.
  9. What about this review? http://www.tinymixtapes.com/music-review/deafheaven-new-bermuda
  10. After dozens of listens and heavy rotation during the past weekend, I'm in that stage where New Bermuda not only surpassed Sunbather in my personal ranking but is aiming the Album Of The Year status along with Kendrick Lama'rs To Pimp. The album is amazing.
  11. I've spent the whole day listening to it.
  12. Hopefully ANTI / Kingsroad will give us download access on oct 2. It should be enough to keep us fed until the vinyl pops up.
  13. Scroll the main page down and you'll be able to play each track individually as you wish.
  14. The new album shreads. As someone who thinks Sunbather is very good but sometimes a bit overrated, I believe that this one might top it as time goes by.
  15. Another solid track. I'm glad the band went further and skipped a lazy Sunbather pt. 2.
  16. Cleaner than music from Oshin but strong and solid as well. Sounds catchier but somewhat sad, the good old trick I can't resist to. This band is great.
  17. That "C" that looks like a "G" makes me read "Gaymera Shy" everytime I looked at that shirt design.
  18. Just when I was about to give up up on them (last couple of albums frustrated me), they released a good one. I'm digging it.
  19. Listening to the MP3s while I don't get my package. RFC released them today for those who preordered. The drums improved the sound a bit, although my ears keep waiting for a Whirr monster sound every time a new track begins . From the girls who sang with Whirr, it's Night School the band which I'm most biased towards. King Woman is also cool.
