I'm not a big fan of ebay at all. I'm more than a little paranoid about sketchy sellers and/or buyers. So he got to keep the original money you paid for the record and ebay just gave you their money? No harm no foul on either party? I think ebay can be kind of crappy. He may have also been scammed in that way before (I'd say it could be common with ebay). Just figured you were one of the many. I always try and remember that people don't know who you are online. It's not an attack on your character because he doesn't know you.

Got this in today. It's one of the nicest 10 inches I've seen. The gatefold sleeve for this looks great. I got the gold variant of this and they did a good job with the variant color (actually looks gold and not orange). It also sounds pretty darn good. Well worth the wait for sure.

This thread is full of some pretty useful information. It's always important to know just who you are supporting when you purchase from a "label" like ETR. Just overall super scummy. I'm sure Ross isn't excited his dirty laundry is getting aired. It all comes back around to get you. I mean come on though prices are all okay when you get a pog thrown in. That has to offset the price a little right?

Looks like I might be in the minority here but I like the new song. However, I don't think I like it enough to give up the money they want for the record.

Got this in today. Looks cool and sounds good. The red/white swirl came out a little more on the pink marble side, but it still looks nice. Mine also had a few transitional blue streaks which I think look really cool.

Somewhere SRC is probably crossing their fingers hoping this takes so long everybody just cancels their orders so they don't have to press this. They can scream poor test presses for 9 months (or be so silent about this release and whisper on twitter vaguely, or send out the most minimal updates about it, etc... hoping nobody hears anything about it and people just forget they have their $30). Ultimately I think most people assume, myself included, the big reason this thing is taking so long is because the pre-order didn't do well and it's a money pit for SRC and they'll delay it as long as they can.

I think the back to black pressings sound pretty good.

I grabbed this. I also kind of wish this was an official release, but I guess that how it goes. I have one of the Frank Ocean releases they did Unreleased, Misc. and it sounds pretty good overall.

Seems steep to me. All the ones I've ever got were free as well. It seems like they usually just get thrown in as a bonus item with a pressing or just used for cheap promotional purposes. This is about 7" cost. This should be cool though. The song is really good. This does come with a digital download with purchase. That sort of helps my opinion of the price somewhat. Still somewhat pricey.

Got my copy of the first album in today. I got number 555. Overall looks pretty nice.

I agree about it being a bit of a bummer that a lyric sheet wasn't included. The poster kind of makes up for it in a way for me. Having that included is pretty sweet. I liked the La Dispute album but for the style I definitely enjoyed this one a little more.

Yeah a $30.17 "bundle" which is the cheapest option to get the record is ridiculous. I don't see any reason that there shouldn't be a $15-17 option. Also and honestly the reality is it is barely a "bundle" because most labels just throw in a download code or CD free of charge.

I grabbed the seahawks variant. May not be the biggest need to be repressed but that is a pretty sweet variant choice. I will say the pricing on these records for the variants are all over the place. It's crazy that the seahawks variant cost more alone than the red variant that also comes with a 7".

I can respect doing the zine style with it and think it's cool the reason you have behind doing it like that. Like I said content wise it's awesome and it looks great. I just worry about durability and accidentally tearing it when I'm slipping it back in the sleeve. That's like a 1% complaint on a 99% job well done.

Gave this a listen today. Sounds great. Overall really well done. The record and sleeve are top notch. The insert content wise is awesome material wise it feels and looks like flimsy newspaper.

I haven't ordered from No Sleep directly for a while. I received a damaged item from them and sent them a couple messages and used the e-mail form thing to send them a message offering to send pictures, etc... I never heard back from them once. I'd say if you don't hear from them relatively quick make sure and stay on top of it. I don't want to slam those guys. I've ordered from them multiple times and had never had a problem, only that once, but it definitely discouraged me from ordering directly from them.

Got this in today from Best Buy. I like this album. Maybe not their strongest release, but it has more than a few good songs (IMO).

Some of these albums are pretty cool. I'll probably try and grab Korn from ETR, but I'd be interested in getting Follow The Leader from MOV. Next up I bet will be a ton of new Limp Bizkit presses.

The stuff you are talking about is brought up a lot in tons of Hot Topic related threads. It just is what it is. It's discussed a lot and nothing seems to change. Quality control isn't Hot Topic's strong point most of the time. Some of their exclusives sound great others don't. It really just depends on the label pressing it. The Wonder Years purple exclusive they currently have sounds bad. Not because of Hot Topic because of Hopeless Records. The Bled exclusives Hot Topic recently had sounded pretty darn good (IMO) that is because of Staple Records. Hot Topic might be at fault for not checking quality, but I guess that's just not how it works with the way the do business.
