For the moment, you can still contact the label to get a copy. Read the note of the first discog listing by AnthemRecords: http://www.discogs.com/marketplace?release_id=5702534&ev=rb Has anybody ripped this yet? It is pretty much just a simple acoustic piece, nothing crazy. It has its charm though.

Brand New - TDAGARIM repress in 11/4

Mine still plays perfectly when the anti-skate is set right, but the spot can be fairly obvious if you can check the disc visually in store. Harder to capture with a camera. -
Dischord raising vinyl prices on August 1

That would require ethics. Typically business and ethics don't mix. How Ian isn't another Greg Ginn or whatever exactly happened with Alternative Tentacles/Dead Kennedys is surprising in a general sense. Ian just manages too be a good person and businessman, a sad rarity. -

People with all three versions say so, but the MOV (black at least) has a spot in Luca where the press must have saw some serious wear over time, which is evident in different degrees. MOV is really good, but if there looks like a thumbprint over Luca you may find your table not tracking that spot well and need to exchange until you find a proper quality copy. -

Is there any particularly good way to navigate Lungfish's discography? All I have is Talking Songs for Walking and Indivisible. Prefer Talking Songs a little bit more. -
Brand New Full Discography Tour

Didn't know about east coast tour until an hour ago. Managed to get a ticket, though. Unfortunately, all of my friend seem to have missed out. Guess I should have bought two.- 824 replies

PO soon: Earth - Primitive and Deadly
deletedunknown replied to ExtraFox's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Can't say I love the track, but I like it enough. Look forward to hearing more. It seems like it would be better in context of the album. I also like the cover. It looks like a more saturated, dark still from an artsy 70s surrealist film, maybe like Alejandro Jodorowsky's work. -

I've had no problems with any remastering jobs for Dischord releases. There was somebody on the boards that was pretty against them for some reason, if I remember correctly. -

If you happen to have any copies of Killing the Dream - In Place Apart kicking around, I'd be into that. -
Topshelf Spring Cleaning Sale

Mine shipped almost immediately, which is usually my experience with instock with the label. Not sure why yours would be taking so long. -
Samhain! Clann Zu would be a nice, but very small set. And none of it has ever been pressed before, so there's that. As the Poets Affirm since nothing has been pressed before as well. A Sarah Kirsch bands chronology would be sweet, and kind of an awesome way to commemorate her life and influence on music. Still waiting on the Swiz set.

This is either a great deal or I'll get a cancellation, but importcds has Salon des Amateurs for $4 plus a 10% off promo code with SAVE10 http://www.importcds.com/music/1916103/hauschka-salon-des-amateurs Just so you know, I guess just, Jon. More people should check this guy, especially with the amount of William Basinski love I've been seeing lately. Not exactly the same, more rhythmic, but I feel they connect somehow in sound.

After Nation of Ulysses, Ian Svenonius has been mostly in garage styled bands like Make Up and Chain & the Gang. Really if you like punk/hardcore at all and don't know at least half of the early 80s releases, you don't actually know hardcore. -
Already own it. Give us some Blue Screen Life. Will be trying to make the DC date, though.

Really both of their albums that weren't released on vinyl, then a repress of their second album.
