  1. Zappa - The Man from Utopia Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells Coalesce - 0:12 Revolutions in Just Listening (HHR version) Kylesa - Spiral Shadow (SoM Clear) Spazz / Monster X 7"
  2. Didn't know about this so glad to see it in this context. I asked SC about a Molina and Johnson repress but they haven't got back to me. It's all I need for a complete Jason Molina LP collection.
  3. Since they seemed to produce the vinyl alone, they may sell it like Faustian Echos, but who knows for sure. Makes me a bit glad The End should handle The Mantle eventually even though I read plenty of bad experiences of others ordering Pale Folklore. Personally I was lucky and had a good experience.
  4. Yeah, they mention it on the facebooks: https://www.facebook.com/ReptilianRecords/posts/704396649620815
  5. I'd say Of Sinking Ships, but I've never actually heard Hopesfall. I just imagine the latter is terrible.
  6. Hope this and The Moon is A Dead World will be waiting for me when I go to my parent's for the holidays. Really need that City of Caterpillars LP original or future repress. Still so glad I saw Pg.99 Doc#5 has a planned repress as well. My screamo dreams are so close to being fulfilled.
  7. Bullmoose pulled through for Pure! Doubt you'll find a better price.
  8. One of the songs on this album sounded a lot like Jesu to me. So I'd also recommend Jesu. Should have originally.
  9. RevHQ has a pretty nice discount section right now.
  10. It's lasted a while. I thought it would sell out quickly, but here we are, however long later. Could be a great deal if interpunk do a 4th discount, plus the new flat rate shipping. Also thought it was /264. Maybe my 9 just looks like 4.
  11. Slowdive have a couple of cool related projects through Graveface Records: Eternal, which is a great 10", and Monster Movie, which is not so strictly shoegaze. Early Starflyer 59 is great (Silver, Gold, Americana). A local shop here put out an obscure local 90's band's, Minnow, 7" that I really love. Then there's a whole bunch of impure shoegaze bands. Socalled "blackgaze" for the heavy side. Boris has recently been mixing a lot of shoegaze elements into songs, though Coaltar of the Deepers did that first and use some death metal influences occasionally in their poppy gaze.
  12. I like the stereogum review TRL posted "Envy-based black metal". Hilarious. Song is good though. So is Envy.
  13. Part of the point haha. I call them abominations. I put down an ink wash then find random messes of things in them. Compositionally and conceptually, I'm mainly just focusing on silhouette creation, mark making, and finding loose connections in subject matter at the moment between sketches I make. Since this is the fifth, I'll soon get into more value control and color palette selection. Value will really help give more sense to the mess, but I'm also working on distortion of figure, so things will never really look academic. I want to get back to some traditional figure drawing soon, though.
  14. So the old looking colors are just that, the old colors? Such a tease for those without.
  15. I'm always surprised at the oldish hardcore/screamo stuff they have in the bargain section. Some Julia, Funeral Diner, an old 96 comp. Then you have all of the bad wannabe hipster electronic/rock bands.
  16. Been working on a sketch series, but had to take a break due to business. I've been back to it again lately.
  17. More time to save money, I guess. Plus hopefully the quality will be immaculate.
  18. So I locked my keys in my trunk today and had to get a smith to open it. Needless to say I didn't have the funds to try to buy an extra copy. Anyway, the record was $30 and it's on a nice amber/brown(?). Also a nice die cut cover. No more 7" except of one of the member's other bands. Apparently they're running low on Faustian Echos. Merch guy seemed legit worried it could have sold out that night. I'd assume the new album will be on midheaven any time now. Show was fun. Wish it was a sit down show or I had a place to lean. So much was kind of post-rockish or black metal. Still plenty to feed the old fan in me, though. It would be interesting if they tried to write a more melodic album with songs like Falling Snow. It was definitely a good way to begin the encore. Maybe that makes sense. If not it's probably because I'm just exhausted. EDIT: Actually looks like the vinyl was done fully through their Dämmerung Arthouse label. No mention of Profound Lore or any other label.
  19. Sounds really exciting. I do need to check out more of your releases. Unfortunately I already have Wife - Pipe Candy, or I'd be looking forward to it too.
  20. It sounds fine, but 1972 have shown they will press from cd source, or whatever with their Aphex Twin reissue (SAW II, anyway)
  21. So nobody still has gone to a show to figure out how much these are or if you can buy extras? Guess I'll figure out tonight for you guys. Hopefully I'll be able to grab an extra for somebody.
  22. Went back for Cryptic Slaughter - Convicted, also got: Magma - Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh promo (too bad some bad fingers have been on it and a corner saw water damage at some point) Clouds - B Chuggas May Be Logging Dinosaur Jr. - Bug Kilara - 175 Millimeter (red) this took longer than it should have to find around here after I passed on it last time Amber Inn - Serenity in Hand
