Almost certain they held on to the top spot. Ksu/notre dame were in the hunt. (Oregon too I think at least @ that point)

So I have a noob question. How come when alabama lost last year to texas a&m they stayed number one and this year with a loss to auburn they have dropped off the map for most voters and sports peps? Did the bcs just consider it a fluke and kept them number one. If I remember correctly they almost lost to lsu and georgia that year as well. So they could have easily had 3 losses that year.
