  1. Seeing all you being stoked about your tickets makes me just more stoked about Monday and TA's European tour announcement cos by the looks of it Dad Punchers will be the support (+also Self Defence Family based on the stuff they've posted on tumblr). I really hope I could make it to at least one show on the tour!
  2. Bump to this thread because of the recent picture Jake posted on his instagram: and because since Touché Amoré is out of the way - this should be the next PO to look forward to on DW, right?? Got the chance to ask Nate about Doomriders couple months ago and he said the album was originally planned to be released a bit earlier sooo I'm hoping this would be the case of one of those PO's that come with instant download. Girl can dream hey! Also those who are around should check out the dates for the High on Fire & Kvelertak tour. These are the ones so far with Doomriders on the bill as well: 11/10 Atlanta, GA – The Masquerade 11/11 Asheville, NC – Orange Peel 11/15 New York, NY – Webster Hall 11/17 Montreal, QC – Corona Theatre 11/23 Sauget, IL – Pop’s
  3. Yeah I was too eager to order so I didn't first notice all that special order stuff. Also wondering if this would be actually available for the time when they tour Europe late Oct till late Nov. Would save so much money to be able to pick it up from a show. But it's Karnivool so I had to order it anyway.
  4. AH SO FREAKING GREAT THANKS!! caps cos I love this band and YES finally! They've talked in the past to also press Themata and Sound Awake on vinyl so I do hope they definitely will do that! Ordered and jb-hifi rules.
  5. clear (and only clear) is available eg via Deathwish Estore so could this mean black would actually be more rare ..?
  6. The deluxe was 30usd so that would be around 24euros and seeing if the shipping was already +20(?) for just US orders, Throatruiner is the way to go in Europe.
  7. Still stoked about deluxe editions being available outside DW estore. Like holy shit what the shipping would have been for that. Converge AWLWLB? That shit was so ridiculous. Those people who were bitching about that never must have thought about all those fans from Europe who also had pre-ordered the record (+paid that dreadful os shipping) and still would pick up extra copy at the band's gig -like totally unfair that people like this got a chance to grab the variant first. haha.
  8. THANK YOU. day made as obviously missed out to get on dw estore on time before gateway time-outs etc.
  9. ^jealous of that AFI (with Touché Amoré). would love to see AFI one day! No idea though how big venues they play. My upcoming gigs list is mighty busy towards end of the year and I love it! next week : Tomahawk + Bosnian Rainbows in Finland Sept 30 - Oct 5th, 6x Dead Letter Circus all over UK Nov 2nd - Nov 4th, 3x Karnivool in Germany Nov 6th, Russian Circles + Chelsea Wolfe in Finland Nov 8th & 9th, 2x Karnivool in Finland in Nov & Dec 6-7 x Mindless Self Indulgence in Germany, Netherlands, France, Finland, Denmark and hopefully in Russia too. Most likely will miss out on Touché Amoré as they are supposed to tour in Europe in November but saw them so many times last year that I can live with that.
  10. ^that Defeater looks really rad! If it seems like the right moment, I do like to get records signed if attending a show and especially if bought straight from the band. I would not go hunting down already signed records as that for me doesn't add any value to it. It's all about the memory! IIOI - Proper, bought it from the artist at his gig where there were just handful of people and merch was just set on one of the tables in the bar so I thought why the hell not. Touche Amore's "TTBODH" signed by Jeremy with an unexpected personal message so that was nice. +PTSBBAM signed by 4/5 of the band when bought at their show and TA x J.Bannon signed by Jake and TA. Maj Karma's record signed by the singer who first time saw the vinyl just then (at record release gig). +few cds signed eg by Karnivool and Rise Against. Old Man Gloom "NO" cassette signed by Nate - simply couldn't resist even when it wasn't at OMG show. Not sure if I was one of the first 300 to order new Chelsea Wolfe album so that could arrive as signed too.
  11. Hopefully there would be no delays with the vinyl release and they would get some during the tour with Chelsea Wolfe in Europe (even when the tour ends already 10th November...). Also it'd be amazing if Chelsea Wolfe joins them to perform Memorial! One can hope many things.
  12. http://hellomerch.com/collections/chelsea-wolfe/products/pain-is-beauty-pre-order just choose the clear one and you are good to go without any extra!
  13. Love those two tracks! Just placed an order for this and for couple other things I've been eyeing on. cheers!
  14. Question to those who ordered via topshelf, did you get a download code via email or does the record come with one? I thought a code would have been emailed on the release date but I never received one so I guess I misunderstood something.
  15. "All packaging photos are by Kevin Luong." ?? Interesting article. Also liking this picture Nick posted on instagram while ago re: album art: Anyways, just realized I've only listened to this album once..and when I did that I remembered someone mentioning a spoken part and when I thought it came up - it was just my drunken neighbours arguing. Still trying to find the perfect mood/moment to give this album the proper listen it deserves.
  16. Pre-ordered a copy as soon as got the first break at work! Now waiting for those tourdates for Europe to surface. Ohh sweeet! I had given up they would go for the vinyl road with their releases cos Hoss said in some interview couple years back that they were looking to press Themata and Sound Awake but nothing ever happened. Nice to hear this is still on table, thanks for sharing the info!
  17. So looking forward to this! I see that from the new album, at least "Kings" and "Feral Love" were on the live set when I she played in Europe just recently. 1. Feral Love 2. We Hit a Wall 3. House of Metal 4. The Warden 5. Destruction Makes the World Burn Brighter 6. Sick 7. Kings 8. Reins 9. Ancestors, the Ancients 10. They’ll Clap When You’re Gone 11. The Waves Have Come 12. Lone
  18. ^works fine for me too. I'm kinda hoping that they would now add this to the set this summer with Nate providing the vocals! Perfect for festivals especially. YES, this would be freaking awesome. Can't wait to see them again soon.
  19. ^there is more splatter again. Not when I ordered but I wanted a pink one so I shall be happy with the 2nd option! Ah man, 1:40am... should still continue sleep cos work in couple hours. Dat instant download code though...
  20. "please note the actual vinyl will look different from what is pictured above" -kings road. And that pic Jake posted had also some instagram filter on top of it so I'd say it's the same.
  21. ^this! I'd love it if they would do "Birds In Row" with this one since it was already played in the club so might as well, right? one can only hope. Since the PO is getting closer, now I'm also on the wagon of having hopes crushed each time a reply other than "PO time!" is posted. This post included, sorry!
  22. Hoping it still would be at least 24h before po happens. The listening party is on 18th, perhaps "SOON" could be just before or right after that? Anyone going btw? This is definitely not the way I'd like to hear an album I'm really looking forward to for the first time -unless there would be headphones for each person attending-
  23. Agalloch - Faustian Echoes (bought at gig)
  24. Gotta love the album art. It definitely will stand out at record stores amongst other metal etc records. Shall there be some merch to follow the color scheme too? Hopefully. As for the music, I'm gonna skip out on listening to any album versions, watching the making of or even reading what the band had to say about the songs until I can enjoy the whole record at one go. I did see these guys live twice just couple days ago and they had Dream House and Sunbather on the set. Took okayish video of the latter which for me stood out more out of the two at both of the gigs. For those that are curios (warning, the filming gets all over the place for quite some time quite early on, so it can be annoying to actually watch) here's the ~11min clip:
  25. RSD went at work then and then straight to dog&cat sitter duties and today I overslept 30min from the time the leftover would go online but managed to reserve Chelsea Wolfe & King Dude 7" which I'm very happy about cos now it's no longer available. +also reserved a copy of Cult of Luna's Vertikal (though there seems to be heaps of these around so no panic kinda item). TA/TF split would have been the cherry on the top but I'll be perfectly ok with the non-rsd version, same with The White Stripes Elephant. Hoping Their/They're/There comes available some other way too.
