imaxcowboyx
Anyone else celebrate? Granted that picture is about a week old, I had another one from Rise here in Durham today. A Wonut: Half Waffle, Half Donut. All awesome.

A Wonut: Half Waffle, Half Donut. All awesome. Looks suspiciously like just a waffle with a hole in it...I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though. It does look good. I had no idea today was donut day. I'll have to run out after work and grab some goodies! Thanks for the heads up
horrorbusiness138
I had doughnuts earlier, but wasn't aware of the national day part. It all makes sense why someone brought them in. And that ^^ looks delicious!

I had no idea today was donut day. I'll have to run out after work and grab some goodies! Thanks for the heads up haha oh its so much more friend! Real tasty, it's a donut but the donut batter has been mixed with waffle batter and blueberries, then they make it in a small waffle iron thingy and glaze that bitch. So it's crispy on the outside, and donut-ty on the inside. And actually kind of has a funnel cake thing going on. Also, I'll be in Portland for two weeks next month, so i'll definitely be checking out Blue Star. They've got some fierce competition to beat from out here though, haha

That does sound good (minus blueberries of course, I'm not a fan of those guys.) Also, I live here in Portland and had never heard of Blue Star...that...looks...ridiculous, I'm going to check that out asap. EDIT: Checking out their instagram...food porn. That's exactly what it is. I'm practically drooling.

GradedOnACurve
I wish there were cooler donut places closer to me. Settled for a free Boston Creme with and Arnold Palmer coolotta. Still worth it.

WalnutSoap
Can you believe there are only three fucking Dunkin Donuts here in the UK. Nearest one is 3 miles away. I'm a motherfucker who likes his Munchkins, so this situation is super fucked up.

I'd have to get on the highway to get there so I never go. I dream of the day when I never have to drive again. WalnutSoap
WalnutSoap
Sometimes I feel like I should just quit my job and go franchise a DD. Munchkins on demand!

Now I feel like I need to take a road trip to get some donuts. DD does have some really good coffee though. What part of the UK are you in if that's not too personal? I used to live in Scotland and they had the best milk Popsicles. I wish someone would franchise that over here!

I live in a beachside town right on the bottom of the UK, called Brighton. We do have a buttload of Starbucks here, but no Dunkin. I love the coffee there. I've got to go to Cologne for work in August, and there's a DD in the city center, so I'll be drowning myself in the stuff. I think I know what you're talking about! These, right? They're ace. I guess whatever country you live in, you're always missing out on something great.

It's been probably about 20 years since I had one but I'm visiting London in september and you better believe I'm gonna look for them!
