Green Tea Papi
I'm gonna hear and wait for the reviews on this one, not that Young New England was bad it's just not something i'd like to own.
smeepo
But Rise also had preorders in their own store. Well, Transit said "just districtlines" in their tweet. Maybe eventually Rise will put their on PO's up, or will have the album available after it comes out.
futures
Not like we're in a hurry to get it though Well of course not. It's August lol.
veggiecorecords
Pulled the trigger on the alternate cover because I want to keep my Transit collection up to date...Almost balked at the $29 shipped price but always happy to support this band! dantheriver
So almost $60 ppd for the limited cover, 7", (arguably) useless CD, and UGLY shirt bundle, or $54 shipped for the limited cover and the standard cover/7" bundle. Not psyched on either of these options and am extremely confused about why DL thinks its costs the same amount to ship 2 LPs with a 7" as it does to ship an LP, 7", CD and shirt. The Saint
I don't know why but the phrase "courtesy of" is bothering me. That must be why they aren't getting a preorder on Rise's MerchNow. "Courtesy of" sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me, like they don't necessarily support the record. I would really like to know what that means in the record label world. Unless I'm just over thinking it. Regardless, I'm ready for the first single. That clip has me really excited and optimistic. And I dig the original artwork, even though it doesn't necessarily scream, "Transit."
Out Of Time
The standard cover isn't great but the alternate is even worse imo.
alogical
The standard cover isn't great but the alternate is even worse imo. The original cover looks like they pulled something out of their ass last second. Sorta artsy and cool but could be a stock image lol. Alternate cover is at least simplistic on purpose and has a pop punk vibe. Just my take
runforcover
District Lines has got to be one of the worst merch sites of that ilk, I wonder why. AWasteOfATime
Ron Don Volante
They now put up a bundle with the alternate cover and the 7". Wish they had done this earlier. Ordered this one and canceling my other order.
faceghost
I can't believe District Lines even still exists.
dantheriver
They now put up a bundle with the alternate cover and the 7". Wish they had done this earlier. Ordered this one and canceling my other order. The shipping is $.60 more expensive in the alt cover bundle than it is in the standard bundle. This company is the worst. Regardless I'm cancelling my original order and getting this.
smeepo
Wow. The extra $5.60 really doesn't justify a more limited cover...
zacooper
Worst merchstore ever, and screw transit with these stupid ass prices and no media mail option.
sabukweli
Putting up the preorder before putting out a full song is a calculated move. Based on the couple demos I've heard (not trying to be "that guy" but it happened), they're continuing to stretch their sound. I don't really want to state my opinion on what I heard or say any more because a) I've liked 5-6 songs since KTTY so my opinion wouldn't be relevant to anyone here but Mr Castaway, and I love these guys to death and don't want to away anybody either way. Just know to expect something "different" in the way that every Transit record has been different from the last (well, with the exception of Let It Out to TWNDU, but I doubt most of you could give two shits about those records). All that said, I do find them selling via DL and saying "courtesy of" awfully curious as well.
smeepo
I feel like the bundles will no longer be "on sale" when they drop the single.
Nateisgame
(well, with the exception of Let It Out to TWNDU, but I doubt most of you could give two shits about those records). I love Let It Out. Waterways in New England is one of my favorite songs by them. Just wish that sweet solo at the end didn't simply just fade out.

Just wish that sweet solo at the end didn't simply just fade out. Yeah that's such an odd/cool moment in their catalog and it's almost like it never happened because it's barely there and then it's gone. And they've never done anything similar as far as solos since then that I can think of.
smeepo
The acoustic 7" is limited to 500 copies and the alternate artwork is 180g in addition to being limited to 250 copies. Okay, Transit. You win.
Sheenobree
Ended up pre-ordering the alternate artwork + 7 inch combo. Ended up being $48 aud posted which wasn't as horrible as I was expecting. I loved Young New England and the trailer sounds ace so here's hoping. Also kind of stoked that it isn't being pressed as a splatter like everything else this year. alogical
Shipping is $8.29 for that bundle. Do I even care enough to spend $35 on something I haven't even heard a glimpse of yet?
