TFP
And not even a seam split in that crappy mailer. Lucky. This would be a good Discogs pic to show the hype sticker. wellnow
Vector53
It sounds good, but man it's not that great of a soundtrack. It's pretty crazy to think of all the things that Marvel still hasn't done quite right since Iron Man, it's getting some better composers for their movies.....speaking of underwhelming things, is anyone really that psyched for Ant-Man after that trailer? Should have pushed that movie in the back-burner when Wright jumped ship.

Other than making entertaining movies every year that are normally top of the box office hits....
slinch
I was thinking the same thing. There's not a lot more they could do in my book.
timsimmons
Marvel is notoriously cheap. Cutting costs on name composers makes sense. They want the focus on the characters and story. You just need a theme, everything else is incidental.
HybridxReality
Don't know if anyone posted pics, but yeah. Came out a bit darker than this picture. But it looks great.
stl_ben
Marvel is notoriously cheap. Yeah thats why they made Guardians of the Galaxy with a 170 million dollar budget. And I'm sure licensing all those songs wasn't cheap....

slinch
Well, they did go for that no-name Alan Silvestri guy to score CA and Avengers. And it's not like CA 2 score wasn't one of the best parts of an already amazing film.
timsimmons
I don't know what to tell you Ben. There have been tons of references in articles over the years on how Isaac Perlmutter is incredibly frugal and Feige follows suit in running Marvel Studios. I didn't mean they make $20 million dollar films, I mean, they will cut costs where they think they need to. GOTG being the exception, their soundtracks are pretty un memorable, but its because they don't use A list talent (Outside of Silvestri for Avengers). watchtower41
Just received my 2 copies today 0048 and 0049. They were packaged together, and I'm thankful for that, despite some dents and dings in the package itself, the vinyl's arrived minty fresh without a blemish on them. Happy and proud to own this. Whether you're a fan of the soundtrack or not, this will go down as one of Marvel's finest films.
