Bladewillisisdead
record release version i think. i could be wrong though Got this at the RR show and the title is definitely not handwritten. My guess is either the band ran out of the printed ones and just did that. Or dude fucked his up and made a new one so he could try to sell it. funtitled
WTF happened here. even if the title is made by the seller if it says cheap i still might try to win this. i've been trying to find a decently priced copy of this for a good amount of time
strangeseraph
Had one of those as a youngin' as well. Sure, make me feel old! I collect vintage toys and dolls, so I have two working Teddy Ruxpin dolls and costumes and books and tapes galore. I also collect Cabbage Patch Kids and Smurfs figures. Shitty Rambo
I motion for an entire division within the board, so we can have multiple threads going. I wouldn't be against this but it's not my call. Might I suggest you start a poll to get the Admins attention?

codeine
I wouldn't be against this but it's not my call. Might I suggest you start a poll to get the Admins attention? I was thinking a section for all non-vinyl formats would be cool. Cassette stuff could go in there instead or being relegated to single thread. Does it seem like there's enough of a need and enough support for something like that to make it worth pursuing?

Out of Breath Records
Back when this thread was 26 pages long we tried to move forward a petition to make a separate division for shit like cassettes and 8 tracks. It's not gonna happen even though we had like 40 signatures.
codeine
Judging by the support forum, seems like it's hard enough to get current features working properly...But how hard could it be to add a non-vinyl format division?

Adding all kinds of other formats is where is gets a little hectic. This IS the Vinyl Collective, which is why I think the powers that be are apprehensive about adding secondary format boards. Cassettes have more or less become the second most popular physical format (in my opinion), but more boards = more time spent moderating them, and in case you guys haven't noticed I'm the only mod at the moment. TL;DR - I'd be down for a cassette sub-board, not so much a CD or MiniDisc sub-board.
kurtz
I actually prefer it the way it is. This thread is not that active that it needs it's own sub-forum. Robert_Sofa

The equipment board is probably less active than this thread. Shot a PM to the Admins about it. Guess we'll see!

codeine
Nope, just cassettes. GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE CDS! I have some pretty cool rare CDs How about a 7x Floppy Disc release? Where will that go?
radiatorhums
I have some pretty cool rare CDs How about a 7x Floppy Disc release? Where will that go? In the garbage because no one owns floppy dics! In all seriousness, there are a few bands with floppy releases that I want. It's total novelty and I would have to find a drive to even play it, but I like it for some reason. Sucker for some gimmicks I guess. Regarding CDs, I lost interest when they went from being something I used to something that went into my computer once and went on a shelf. I get why people want CDs (or any physical media really), but I find it a pretty foreign concept to use them to listen to. I don't even own a CD player at this point. If I want to rip/listen to something, I have to use my work computer.

ronniegwilliams
Ah, CDs. I was so naive to think I would love my 2,000 CD collection forever. So young, so dumb. I have 30 or so hanging around in a box somewhere, and I just found an As Cities Burn CD demo hiding in a box the other day. brianmorgante

kurtz
I have bought more cds this year than I have in a long time. Still love them, and even more now that I can always get them dirt cheap! I buy used cds regularly for less than most new cassettes costs these days. There have been several 2015 releases that I bought a $8-$10 cd instead of a $20-$30 LP. While I prefer vinyl, the format really doesn't matter to me that much.
