WAMLAW
How can I buy one copy of a vinyl that has music of my choosing. Sort of like a mix tape or a CD I burn with my own music but on vinyl. Probably a stupid question but I really wanna be able to but not spend tons of money. What can i do?

TheWindBlower
Somebody call the VinylDaddy. If you give him $10, he'll seek out any record you want and then sell it to you and you pay him the rest. It's foolproof. somethingvinyl
I wanted to do this, somewhere in the early 2000's, before I realized what it took to ACTUALLY PRESS A RECORD!

What about instead of a record pressed you just get a lathe cut? Obviously you'd only get a few songs, but it'd still be the cheapest and easiest way of getting a single thing done instead of a whole batch. emacs
nancy_raygun
Lathe cut is your best bet but it'll be expensive and you might have issues with copyright, but I guess you'd have to take that up with whoever is pressing the record

piky0032
The only thing close would be those DJ records that sync to a computer program......Played with them a couple of weeks ago......but thats a one track at a time thing and mainly used for scratching/mixing

But again, that's not really a record, nor as durable.
