BuzzersonKillwell
This new song is really good! I kind of love this band so much. I'd really love a curated 3xLP boxset or something. I really dig some of their stuff but I'm not super into the entire catalog.

I really dig some of their stuff but I'm not super into the entire catalog. See, I'm the complete opposite, I favor all their stuff. I only have Feast Of Wire and Garden Ruin on vinyl though, but I really would love to pick up the rest at some point.
BuzzersonKillwell
I think I like it all, but I tend to make playlists with a few tracks from each album. Weirdly though, I would probably like them more if I couldn't skip tracks. I haven't given a lot of the work enough time. You have any other bands like them? I have a lot of spanish language stuff that is similar but I'd love to find more bands with this sound.

I've never been able to find a band that put together this specific "tex-mex" sound like Calexico, other than actual spanish language stuff, like you said. These guys kind of broke the mold, me thinks.
throwgncpr
Garden Ruin is the only album I don't like. Love the rest of their catalog. Their tour LPs are my favorites, especially Tool Box. I'll be grabbing that 2xLP, but I wish they offered it in black.
warhenrecords
Great band. Looking forward to picking this up.
putol
or you could buy it directly from the label overseas http://calexico.frocksteady.com/shop.html
DC1221
I've only listened to the EP these guys did with Iron and Wine. I hear that Sam Beam and Neko Case are on this record. Thinking about pre-ordering this blind....
74R
So bizarre. Had never heard these guys but had heard of them for a really long time and thought they were a stoner type band in the vein of Kyuss or Fu Manchu. Have no idea why I thought that but this is pretty cool.

soundfanz
The Road Atlas vinyl box is brilliant. Amongst the best sounding vinyl I have heard, and the material is superb. I can't wait for this new album.
THE_James_Champ
Feast Of Wire is probably my most played album by them, I love it so much.

SunsetDramaKing17
Saw Calexico in Philly Friday night. Amazing as always. Just wanna give a heads up that they are selling the deluxe version of this record SIGNED by the band for 40 bucks, at their merch table. This band, and this record, deserve MUCH more love! throwgncpr
I love Calexico, but I can't get into this album at all. Still haven't picked it up yet because I was so disappointed after streaming it.
