serious business
i dug the EP that came out last year. Yeah, I'll admit that wasn't terrible. I snagged it for like $5 or something from a UO sale.
Green Tea Papi
Unpopular opnion, I like their whole catalog, especially their second. My Life is a really beautiful song that sticks with me a lot. Their first is definitely their catchiest, but the second is better for me personally, same with the EP the new song is alright it'll probably grow on me. Also I really dig the Wavves, split from awhile back.
billya
I love the production on the first one. And I echo the dudes who sing along to Boyfriend.
serious business
Popular opinion: Make You Mine 7" is probably the best thing she put out. That Jeans Wilder split is solid too, though.

serious business
Pochahaunted, bro. Ahhhh. Shit. For whatever reason, when I think about her I ways forget about Pocahaunted. 2moreinches
Just saw Best Coast play a festival in Phoenix on Saturday night. They played the new single that was released and the self titled track off this album. The track had a bunch of lines about getting high and the song honestly killed it so much more than the tracks off The Only Place and the first single off this album. Good enough to convince me I needed a preorder. It was very guitar heavy and I think you'll all appreciate it
BeardedSteven
Writing songs about how high you like to get is cool... Agree with the general sentiment that I'm not feeling a need to pre-order. It's too bad because that first album kicked so much ass and it still sounds good today.
backpackoat
This leaked. I haven't listened yet since it's time for bed, but I know some people may be interested.
throughbeingcruel
I just preordered this from a local shop a couple days ago and was given a 10" with a few singles on it. 'Heaven Sent' may be my favorite Best Coast song yet. Hopefully the rest of the record is as good.

Brody
New single is decent music with terrible lyrics. Sirius XMU plays it 30 times a days and I change the channel every time.
tonyfranciosa
decent music with terrible lyrics. this is pretty much all of her stuff. new one is more of the same. pleasant enough, but not a hooky as the last EP/first album.
dreamover
I really dig the first few songs. Then it goes downhill. The lyrics get so awful that they can't be ignored by the time the title track plays. "california nights make me feel so happy i could die but i try to stay alive... i never wanna get so high that i can't come back down to real life and look you in the eyes and say baby... you're miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee" and it's not even that they're fast lyrics. it's a slow song where every word draaaags... i really wanted to like this record, but don't see myself picking it up. oh well. the reviews are gonna be painful to read. YouTwo
I'm trying to think of the last time I turned on my XM Radio and "California Nights" wasn't on XMU. It's been a while. I liked the song when it first came out but every time I hear it I start liking it less and less

hobbesthecat
stream's up on tumblr: http://irlirl.tumblr.com/bestcoast already better than their sophomore outing imo (5 songs in). harder and stronger instrumentally, and better production. BUT the lyrics in almost EVERY freaking song so far = boys / relationships / checking her cell phone about said guys
