red dirt
Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I searched, but didn't find this topic already. I'm interested in hearing the community's thoughts on this modular shelving option---seems a bit pricey, but an attractive alternative to Ikea shelves. -- https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/306095760/grow
Tardcore
extremely expensive and not at all space efficient, but I can see people buying these. At least it's not an expedit clone. AND thanks for reminding me to check in on our other kickstarter pal. weinerdog

That said I like the idea but don't see where the cost comes from though
EmmEff
I like it, but it is very expensive for what it is.
lexicondevil
This just looks like a bunch of record storage boxes with the sides cut out and stacked on top of each other. I thought this was a joke at first. They should probably paint the brown parts white, so it doesn't look so cheesy. It also looks like a house of cards. I will stick with my Expedit. kjkenney
Neat idea, but when will people realize that there are other materials in this world for building furniture than MDF board. Doug Fir has about 5 times the compressive strength and is still wicked cheap. Also......DJ Soapstone lololol Requiescat

daegor
I saw this last week, I actually think it's a great idea. It does save some space (not a lot) but the modular aspect is neat. Then I saw the prices. Requiescat and weinerdog

Tardcore
I thought of Q bert too. This thing would be infinitely swankier if they Q berted it up.
batnoises
I'm dating myself, but makes me think of this... Initial idea aswell. I'd rather build my own and paint it like this. I do like the idea though.
kjkenney
I'm with you there. I sell lumber for a living. Damn I'm on the side where I just buy it for a living selling building materials has always seemed like an awesome job to me
nancy_raygun
The obsessive compulsive in me would be very upset trying to keep my collection alphabetized with something like this
kurtz
Not a bad idea, but not into the look of it or the price. http://www.freeqbert.org/ vinyl addict
