Guest
Hahaha. I don't even know how to respond to this. Owning Enema of the State was a pretty big feat with the Parental Advisory and all, which was actually enforced here. Bringing it to the hockey dressing room for pre-game Blink-182 didn't hurt the rep. Otherwise, no friends. I had to have my friend with a less strict mom buy me the untitled/self titled or whatever for my birthday when it first came out. It's kind of funny thinking back to the days where my mom gave a shit what I listened to.

The Saint
I can remember these two specifically because I remember begging my mother to drive me to Target to pick them up. Got them both on the same day. The Killers - Hot Fuss Gorillaz - Demon Days There's got to be more. But that's all I can remember. I do hazily remember buying a Black Eyed Peas CD around that time (maybe a few months later), but I'm trying to block that phase out of my life. Other than that, most of my CDs were passed down from my sister and my dad (Anything from Brand New to Buddy Holly). My taste in music grew from there until about five years ago when it began to bloom on its own. I began to enjoy and appreciate albums as a whole. When I first started buying my own music, the age of iTunes was in full effect so it was individual songs here and there. Not many full albums were being purchased. Quite the opposite for me now. You, my friend, had stellar taste in music
