beags
Just scrolling through the JB Hi Fi website (Australia) and noticed this... https://www.jbhifi.com.au/music/Whats-Hot/pop-urban/beauty-behind-the-madness-deluxe-180gm-vinyl/886941/ $72.99 for a 2LP gatefold. Surely that's almost double the standard RRP?? Who in their right mind would pay this??

HybridxReality
But it's Grammy Award-nominated multi-platinum alternative R&B trailblazer The Weeknd. Worth every penny!
Han Solo
For some reason the Aussie prices are ridiculous, especially for their local bands. Like $30 for a cd kind of thing
A-Bon
not defending them... but the USD to AUD is Shite! and they import most of their stuff from the states... however.. i can still get this for $55 landed in aus... problem is. there just isnt enough consumers/people like the US to warrant more big sellers.. like B&N, Walmart etc... and so JB can charge what they like, preying on the weak the worst part of it is, it just makes Aus Artists soooooo expensive.. i had to pay $60 for The Rubens - Hoops! I bought it last week at JB (had to make multiple phone calls to track the last one down in VIC) for $42. You got jibbed!!

entendu
So many people go straight to jb for records, and I have no idea why. My local store (clarity) undersells them every time. I have also picked up records last year by local artists for $20 - $25 multiple times. A-Bon
runforcover
We sell that record for $40. The wholesale cost on it must be damn high if we sell it for that much, but $72 is insane.
throughbeingcruel
My local shop sells it for ~$36, but they're like the cheapest store in the state. No idea why it's that much though.
elnombre91
AUD to GBP is great, 1gbp = 2aud roughly. But still, that's crazy pricing and for a record by The Weeknd?
