amaestre
Is it not possible to see store prices until you join? I want to join and get Nada Surf, Fugees and Weezer but would like to know how much it will be first.

I want to join and get Nada Surf, Fugees and Weezer but would like to know how much it will be first. The previous AOTMs (Nada Surf, Fugees) are all $27 each. The current AOTM (Weezer) will be whatever plan you sign up for (1 Month - $27/month, 3 Months - $25/month, 12 Month - $23/month) minus any referral credits. Professor Finn
It's real temping to sign up for a month to the pinkerton because it's super cool and it would be like $17 with the referral thing, not really my favorite album in the world but would be nice in the collection. hut hut hike
I'm hoping to pick weezer up with $6 crate membership Maybe I'm misreading you, but wouldn't it be easier just to join right now for a month and pay $27 for the Weezer LP than do the crate membership? The LP would end up costing you $33 through crate ($27 for LP + $6 access fee), assuming you are in U.S., right? Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial (VMP Exclusive, LTD to 750, Yellow Vinyl) $27 TOD looks like the only thing I'm picking up so far. Debating whether to utilize the "swap" feature and trade away Pinkerton, as I already own a copy of the 1996 pressing. Accumulating different variants really isn't my thing, but it does look nice. I've been a member for 11 months now, the only swap choices I don't own yet would be Youth Lagoon or Torres or J Dilla. Hmmmm...

I believe the $10 referral credit is for the store and cannot be applied to the subscription cost. <--- EDIT: Wrong as Halo showed below, it can be used for renewals as well! So while it may be net $17 on first blush, you will have to purchase something from the store to get the credit. That being said, they always have a great selection in the store at decent prices so it wouldn't be hard to use the credit right away. Canuckle
$10 VMP account credit for use in the member store or towards account renewals. Keyword there is 'renewals' The $10 could be applied for month 2... but month 1 will cost $27. But yes, you are right and I was wrong up there. It's not just the store which is actually really nice. AllFuzzedOut
Someone pm me a referral code. I'm about to place an order and figure someone on here could use the referral credit. (Me too, need that orange Wilco!)

TheLegendOfMidna
Used someone's code a few weeks ago to join and the $10 discount applied to my monthly membership charge. Just got charged $17 for this month. Such a steal for Pinkerton shipped. twentytwo

Canuckle
Nothing in the store aside from the CSH, Flume and maybe Minor Victories is grabbing me this month. That Flume price is nice to see after seeing how much it would cost to grab from either the official Flume site or AUS. I'm hoping for a couple more exclusives to pop up before the store opens (they said there would be between 3-5 exclusives this month).
