Question about CD's(yes they still make these)

Recommended Posts

never in stores. way too fucking expensive.

http://archivecd.com/ is my favourite label going right now. only cds i avidly collect (have over 30 in the collection). otherwise if it's a cd only release with no vinyl edition in sight, i get it from the band, label, or distro. otherwise it's always vinyl + mp3 over cd.

I bought the new Andrew Jackson Jihad EP on CD at their show on Sunday because it's not available on vinyl yet. That was the first CD I've bought in months. In the last year I've probably bought less than 10 CDs and they were mostlly all from shows. Got a couple good deals on CDs from No Idea ($1.99 rules!).

Amazon.co.uk

Selecta Disc (best indie music store in the UK)

iTunes if it's digital only (i.e. DEP's Plagiarism, P.TM's Devil Say I, I Say AIR)

or, as most of the time they don't get released in England, straight from the band

I honestly don't know how people can cut CDs out of their music listening completely, most of the bands I listen to it's the only way to get their music.
