I think that goes for any record. I happened to get two for this one because I'm super excited, and for some reason did the same with the latest Thee Oh Sees, but otherwise, there's never a need. Except now that I've opened it, I have a few minor gripes: The record is really sharp around the edge, resulting in The inner sleeve having a seam split on two sides The blue isn't as solid blue as in the mockup, it has some light black splatter or streaking if that makes sense The blue is also not as much a match to the cover's blue as the mockup, it leans a bit toward teal. Looking at other recent VMP release images on Instagram, they should have used the blue from the Glass Animals record as it seems like a much closer match to the Preoccupations cover. And more solid. YouTwo Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 I got my VMP copy yesterday too. I didn't have a problem with the sharp edges. I didn't notice any seam splits on the inner sleeve, but to be honest, it probably wouldn't bother me anyway. I put it in a Diskeeper. I thought the record sounded really good though.
