Do collectors go after comps too?

okay, figured as much, thanks guys! There goes even more money :)

You don't NEED to go after comps just because other people do it for their collection purposes. Same way you don't need to go after test presses either. I don't go for comps or test presses at all. Sheesh.

i dont particularly "get" doods that "collect" a particular band. varients, comps, splits, yada yada.

if this is your thing then sweet, im not having a dig....but if i like a release i generally just go for the ONE most limited colour i can get at the time and leave it at that. vinyl still makes me just as happy.

sometimes more than one color turned out really great looking and you either want all of them or a couple of the variants. it's been hard with VC, so many of the projects turn out amazing and it's hard not to buy them all. i usually stop at first press, represses drive me crazy and it's not worth emptying your wallet over all the time.
