I wasnt taking it as bashing, apologies if I came off as defensive, just providing some clarity from the literal person who comes up with 90% of variants for our label and orders them. The reality is that the amount that splatters, or any version of a splatter, sell higher than a solid/single color is honestly very staggering, especially in the age of social media where 50-75% of people buying vinyl are literally just buying the coolest looking variant to post on social media. I as well am not a huge fan of splatters on solids, I very rarely do them unless they are part of a half/half or in an aside.bside. Yes, new CIS, album rules.
