kirbypuckett
Why is Fedorov wearing #29? And why is Malkin wearing 11? And why is Kovalchuk wearing 71? There's no 17 on the team I noticed. #17 is retired in Russia, so Kovalchuk flipped it. Malkin wore #11 in Russia before. #17 was Valeri Kharlamov's number. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valeri_Kharlamov
sgoodcore
Okay, that makes good sense.
slowpoke
I can't believe the leafs are just one game away from the finals against the canadiens. GO DOUG GILMORE.
brad
Love the fact the Swiss just tied the game
kirbypuckett
Pronger = idiot Canadians must be throwing up. The Swiss beat them 2-0 last time around. Crosby should show up in the 3rd. Nash is a beast.
kirbypuckett
He showed up in the shootout.
sgoodcore
Just finished watching the US game on the old DVR. Nice to see them win 6-1. Needed that goal differential. Now, if the US can beat Canada by 2 they'd be tops in the Group. Now that would rule.
teganandsara
With the way Canada is playing it would be the US' game to lose.
sgoodcore
I just want my boys in blue to get a bye to the Quarterfinals.

kyleevanswastaken
With the way Canada is playing it would be the US' game to lose. I think canada can pull it together enough to beat the US. I hope they can at least.

Snaggle Von Swift
so torn.. go USA! but go Richards/Pronger! will be weird to see Richards and Crosby on the same line.
mcm1610
How do people like Pronger?
mcm1610
I really love seeing these guys truly have fun sometimes. The excitement after USA's 2nd goal right there reminds me that, yea, they're professionals, but this is different for them too. Still, it should be interesting next go around when the NHL'ers don't get to play.
dynamitekid
I think quite a few players would leave the NHL so they could play for their country.

brad
Honestly, one the best empty net goals I've seen rafalski is a big time player I love pronger I don't get too invested in who wins in the oly, just want the cocky home team canadians to lose. Huge confidence boost for the US, but I still think the Russians are the team to beat
