markalark17
Does anyone know how many of these were pressed slash how rare it is? Thanks!
brentoage
you can still buy copies of this for $10 all over the place so, i don't think it's all that rare. i don't know any details though.

markalark17
This is a continuous press. Oh, really? I wondered about that, so I sent them an e-mail asking, and they never responded, and now it says that it is out of stock from the band's website. It's probably just temporary. tim
New one's been growing on me slowly. Even though I didn't like it at first, I kept going back to it. "I Am The Movie" has gotta be the least deserving of their albums to have vinyl treatment...
steventangent
hah. It's the only one I listen to with any regularity. Could be that right before it's release, they were part of one of the best shows I ever saw.

kirbypuckett
I'd like to own this, I'd rather have the first pressing of the CD which came in a 5.25" floppy disk sleeve. I know Scott owns one.

I actually have the second "pressing" of the floppy-disc CDs; there was an even more limited-edition version before mine.

brentoage
both albums after "i am the movie" need to be pressed on vinyl, methinks.

311thrice
I would love that MCS floppy disc. I've only seen it on ebay a few times and I've always been broke when it's up. Does anyone wanna trade theirs?
311thrice
I just got one. Here is what mine looks like. I know it's blue, but I don't think it's a CD-R. Any help on what press this is?
dylan
thats the second press. same one i have. and its not a cd-r. i dont think ive ever seen the any from the first press -dylan
mike
Something of note is that the recording is actually pretty different from the real cd. When they signed to epitaph they remixed the whole thing, re-recorded all the bass parts because the original was done before matt joined, and added some back ups. The songs that are missing were recorded later on, but this one has "1000 paper cranes" which they left off the epitaph release. Overall, its kinda rawer sounding. Its not necessarily better, but I kinda dig it ocassionally.
lokithelion
The original mix sounds like a lost follow up to four minute mile. the rerelease is over produced.
mcm1610
Wow, I didn't know they had a release after Commit This to Memory.
brammyg
Ya, it completely went unnoticed I find. It was such a good pop record but I think that the cheesy album cover and name threw people off.
