chunkrock
Refused - "The shape of punk to come" came out ten years ago today. I feel this deserves a topic because of how much influence this album has had on me. It's a good time to break this album out I think. hickey
I wonder how many people here listened to this album 10 years ago...or even two years ago.
lostatsea
i got the epitaph sampler video that was made out of styrofoam back out of a free bin back in highschool. It had the video for new noise on in and after that i went out and bought the cd. Just got the vinyl this year though. Love this album
destroyingthescene
This album is badass. I remember cranking this on CD back in Grade 6. It's one of the records that's on my, "get off my ass and purchase" list.

birdwell
definitely had one of their songs on that Punk-O-Rama IV sampler back in the day, loved the song...one of my friends brothers had the album and played the whole thing at a party at their house one night...and that was it...next day went and purchased it...I suppose I got it 9 years ago instead of 10...then started picking up the back catalog between Shape of Punk to Come and Fan The Flames of Discontent ...shit didn't leave my CD player for well over a year

birdwell
i watched "refused are fuckin dead" the other day. just put it on randomly cause I was bored. I honestly had given up on that DVD coming out by when it did...but daaaaaaaaaaaamn was it worth the wait...that's easily the best Band Related DVD I've yet to see (granted I havn't seen a whole lot, but still) blew me on my ass, so well put together and the choice of music and how it flowed...excellent DVD
enjoyadrian
I'm listening to this now out of appreciation. I admit I only found out about this album two years ago (a friend bought the album through a recommendation, then passed it on to me). eroc
I think I first heard it around 2000-2001. The guitarist of my band in high school had it and we listened to it quite a lot. And we watched the hellllllll out of the video for "new noise"

skumbucket
you can't not listen to the whole thing. even the few times i've put it on just to hear a song or two i inevitably end up winding it back and going start to finish. so flawless.
